Q) What MMO do you currently have the most interest in playing? If Warhammer, which branch? (Destruction, Order or both.)
A) Warhammer Online for sure. I've recently played EQ2, WoW, and AoC. This is the game I most want to play.

A) I have and I agree with it.

A) Yep, 34 years young.

A) Yep, reviewed a few of those. Some people can't read or follow directions or don't belive rules apply to them.

Q) Do you have any relatives or friends currently in the guild, or were you recruited by someone? If so, who?
A) Nope. I'm sure I have grouped or been in a scenerio with one or two members along the way somewhere but I currently do not know anyone that plays on a friendly basis.

A) Krudd (both forum and in-game) He's a Greenskin Shaman. I do not currently have an alt I am interested enough in playing.

A) Male

Q) What region do you live in? [City and State is fine.]
A) I live in West Brookfield, Massachusetts so I am east coast timezone. I usually play between 7 pm and 12 am.

Q) How did you hear about us: [friend, another member, forum, google, other mmo's, etc]
A) Was Hammerfist Clan ever on Lanys T'Vyl server in EQ? I seem to fondly recall the name of the guild but I can't remember from what game or server. Anyway, I saw a post on Warhammer Alliance forums and thought the guilds ideals match that of my own so I became interested.

Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A) Nope. I am alone and guildless. My steady group has left to play WoW. My last guild was Darkhand in EQ2, AoC and WAR. They have packed up for WoW full time.

Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) Not since I applied to be in Darkhand 1+ years ago.

Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A) I can take a joke with the best of them and I have been known to pull a good rib once or twice.

Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) I played EQ Live for about 3 1/2 years on the Lanys T'Vyl (blue) server. My main was a Barb Shaman. GoD and OoW x-pacs killed the game for me. I tried EQ2 when it launched in November 2004 on a PvE server playing a SK and then rolled on PvP (Nagafen) when that came out as a Fury. I stayed in EQ2 for a while before trying WoW (shaman), AoC (shaman), even Vanguard. (shaman, see a pattern here?) I was glad to find WAR, a game I am enjoying and reminds me of the good ol' days in EQ Live.

Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) Maturity, size of your active player base, a name I recognize, and that you are Destruction and not wimpy Order. Darkhand was on Order and I had to play an Archmage! Yuk!

Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) I am married and have 2 kids. They are 9 and 5. I'm a scoutmaster for a Boy Scout troop and I go hiking and camping a lot. I'm usually away one weekend every month doing something. I do read books, not just forums, I like to cook, watch a lot of football and baseball, and sleep. Yes, I said sleep.

Q) Do you have any questions for us?
A) How rooted is HC in Warhammer? I'm tired of game jumping over the last few months. I really like this game and I want a guild I can settle into and work on my character progression with while working toward a common goal alongside likeminded players. HC appears to be that guild but its better to get it from the horses mouth sometimes.

My first MMO character in EQ was a Shaman. Wait, strike that. My second MMO class was a Shaman and I fell in love with it. My first was actually a rogue that I lost in Kithicor Forest at level 9 trying to make my way to Highpass. Long story short, the corpse run proved to be too difficult and I abandoned the character.
Anyway, at risk of sounding lame, the Shaman is an extension of my personality. I love nature, flora and fauna. I like to help people and I prefer healing classes. The original EQ Shaman was a poweful class with many buffs and spells used to enhance stats, speed, and melee. Complimenting that was a devastating array of powerful dots which frequently earned me unwanted aggro in places like Ssra Temple and Vex Thal (especially on Aten Ha Ra at the end). Ahhh ... those were the days.

Where was I? Oh .. so I like Shaman for their versatility and the fact that they compliment any group makeup well.

I most recently finished Into The Wild.

although i have never read the book..........The movie is one of my all time favorites, it just makes you feel all sorts of crazy...!

Into the Wild is in my top 100. Great book, the older me does not identify in quite the same way I did as young vagabond but I still find it solid all these years later. Just re-read it a couple months ago actually.

Movie is good, I like the soundtrack as well.

You have a wonderful rounded background and personality, a reader/book enthusiast is always a plus.
