Heh interesting RP app! Though, its quite thin, can you tell us about you, hobbies, interests? Stories are a big plus, we want to know you not your klingon...erm....orc persona

Am a performance tester in RL (you gimmie a website, I spam it until it breaks - only I get paid to do it ).

Have 3 kids under 6, which makes weekend playtimes interesting (though my wife and I have worked miracles and get em to bed by 7PM).

I have played RPG's since their inception (started in Meridian 59) and have played all the staples - Ash. Call, EQ, EQ2 , DAOC, LotRO, Vanguard - but this is my first PvP experience, having a blast so far on a high pop server (badlands), but the 2 hr queue times are trash.

Played a brief while with HC in LotRO and had a great time, was just burned out by gaming as a whole and work and just needed time away, plus RvR is so totally different that I'm enthralled.

Looking to join a group that has fun, actually coordinates in scenarios / RvR instead of a mad zerg / FFA, and learn PvP from a great group of folks.

I have one weakness - I'm a bad altaholic, probably why I burned out on games before. I think that if I can find a guild that actually NEEDS me to fill a particular role (and I lewarn that role well) then i'll stivk with a char and do well. I had a friend that threatened me with bodily harm in WoW if I didn't pick a char and stick with it till 70, so I did that and had a blast until 2 years of WoW finally caught up to me.

That said, I know I RPd an orc, but if there is a particular class that is lacking I would give anything a go. Will definitely need some good coaching once teams are established, because right now I just zerg with the rest of the masses - fun, but not very instructional.

So what do you think, am I worth a shot? What class do ya need?

And I really, really understand the alt thing. EQ2 was my first MMO, and I ended up with 2 accounts worth of alts. I only ever got past 40 after joining a great guild and wanting to actually get to group with their mains. The most recent expansion got me to push up almost to the level cap so that I could actually experience the new stuff with them. And then most left, so I did too.

I have trouble because I do enjoy most classes and am having trouble deciding here as well (though I keep vowing that I'll pick a main and level so I don't keep falling farther behind everyone). Sorry but that is exactly what you are gonna hear...........we dont want to force anyone to play something they didnt choose.....Even though we are short on healers and mpds.....lol(jk)...I suggest you max out one of each class then you wont have to get burnt out fast.....

Also loved the Altaholic bit...I have 2 remaining spots on character creation and I'm thinking of using those too. =) Whatever you decide to roll on, message me in-game (my name's Gorlokk) and if you are interested, I would gladly duo with you, whether it will be a healer or a mdps, because I'm deciding to give my BO a break and play around.... that is, of course, if you get in. (which I hope you do)

If MDPS is needed, that works because the char I've leaned towards the most has been the Witch Elf. Might try that one and a marauder, then get into healing once i havee a better feel for how PvP is really supposed to work .
