Nice guy, good player! Really good healer! Kept us alive in scenario! And as a person came across a stand-up kind of guy! Good to have in your corner kind of guy! Definite plus for addition to guild

Alright Herring is a great guy to play with and I enjoyed his company very much (Zhartig btw Herring). The app needs a little more meat added to it. Tell us some more about yourself, elaborate on some things. I would love to have you in the guild but by the app others don't know you or how good of a player you can be. Read the Sticky by Stigma to get an idea of what to add. I'm only one person and can't guarantee you'll get in just cause I say so. The Boss may like me but I don't think he's going to let that application slide, so please do a favor because we like you and your gameplay style just take a little extra time on the app. Hope this helps some.

I agree with Myshthrak, we need some more information here. The App is pretty bare bones as it stands.

Ok, more info, let me break it into a few categories:

Interests and beliefs:
Well, I like long walks on short beaches after a long ride on the short bus. And, oh, i love the way champagne makes my nose tickle. I beleive in gun rights, they all should have the right to vote. I am suspicious of the motives of most cats and even more suspcious of the dogs incessent sniffing.

On Gaming:
I am a casual gamer but a gamer for years! I waited in line for a Turbo Grafix 16 and my first gaming system was an intelivsion. Uhhggghhgg, it sucks to be old.

Before my son was born and I got promoted, I was a very serious gamer. FPS, strategy, RP's...if it was good, I was playing it.

I am a very team-centric player. Until the advent and widespread use of voice chat, I favored the glass cannon and heavy melee type of avatars. Since voice-chat, I have favored the healing classes. The thing that stokes me about Warhammer is the ability of the healing classes to get into the fray and throw out some DPS.

If I may brag a bit, in WoW I was a very in very high demand as a healer and was often first choice for the difficult instances in my guild. I was never the top uber-garbed and equipped player but I did have the best reputation for on-time and consistant heals/support and teamwork.

Family and Job (I put these in the same category because I actually love both these aspects of my life):
I am almost 40. I have been married for almost 10 years. My wife and I move to Atlanta from Fort Wayne, Indiana with just the shirts on our back. No friends, family, or a job. We came in search of better opportunity. We have been blessed with a 2 year old son, Jackson. We just built a great house just outside of Buckhead, GA.

I have a great job. I manage 10 salespeople responsible for $25m in annual sales for a fortune 100 company. I have a bachelors in Psycholgy and a Masters degree in Business Administration. My wife is in surgical sales.

Please consider me, as i know I would fit your Guild based on my observations in game and playing with your members and talking to them on vent. I look forward to seeing you guys in-game. I just hit Teir2 on Herring and i look forward to joining your guild.

Let me address Andway's statement. I absolutly do not want a hard-core guild. I just dont have the time. More important, i dont have the mindset. I do not want to play with peeps that treat a game like a job. You may have missed my sarcasm to the humor question. My humor tends to be very dry and sarcastic.

I dont know if this falls under the funny story catogory or the crying-out-for help category. Since I love to cook, let me put this in the form of a recipe.

WTF Are You Doing Stew
1 part Friday Night
5 parts of tough work week
6 Parts Red Bull/Vodka
2 Parts Stell Artrois
1 Sleepy Wife returning from a sales trip
1 Heaping Cup of ME wanting to rank up on a new game

First take on part Friday night and marinate it in 5 parts tough work week. Next quickly add 2 parts Stella, followed immedialty by 6 parts Vodka/Red Bull. Mix until sugar/caffine/guarna/alcohol buzz is at a high simmer. Introduce 1 part sleepy wife on a couch. When said wife is completly rested and out, add a dash of "sprint upstairs" and the Heaping Cup of ME wanting to rank up on a new game.

Wait 6 hours.

After 6 hours this stew is ready for serving. Serve with a wife walking into the compter room looking at a pased-out husband at 4 AM. Headphones on. Monitor dispaying a Goblin Shaman log on screen. Head on keyboard. Mouse in hand. Goes great with a side of "Who did I marry pudding?" or a glass of "You are an idiot Merlot" Definatly not served with any sort of pie for husband.
