Q) What MMO do you currently have the most interest in playing?
A) Warhammer Online
Q) Have you read our Code of Conduct and Forum Rules?
A) Yes, I have.
Q) Are you at least 18 years of age? [yes, no, actual age is optional]
A) Yes, 23 years young!
Q) Have you read at least one of our example applications? [this is highly recommended]
A) Uh-huh. Quite the crew you've got here!
Q)
Do you have any relatives or friends currently in the guild, or were
you recruited by someone? If so, who?
A) Nope, I'm flying solo here.
Q) Name: [planned in game/forum name]
A) I go by "Sleep" or "AmazingSleep". Or any other conjunction of adjectives that are awesome involving my name.
Q) Gender: [female, male]
A) Very very male.
Q) What region do you live in? [City and State is fine.]
A) Wesley Chapel, Florida. It's a little burb just north of Tampa.
Q) How did you hear about us: [friend, another member, forum, google, other mmo's, etc]
A) Warhammeralliance.com I'm a regular reader of the site and also have posts there as well. All under the same user name "Sleep"... feel free to look me up if you want to know more about/e-stalk me.
Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A) Nope! I've been searching for quite a while for a quality one, and I'm the kind of person who sticks to what he does. If I was already in a guild I wouldn't be applying
Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) No, I haven't. For the same reasons as above. I'm big on integrity and I don't think going half-in on a bunch of different guilds is really helping anyone. Who wants a non dedicated member?
Q)
We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good?
You're a standup comedian you say?
A) I'm not a stand up comedian... I suppose that means I might as well stop filling this ou--- Oh, you want me to continue? Yes? Oh alright, I suppose. But only because you were so polite!
I consider myself HILARIOUS, although whether or not everyone else does is still up in the air (never could tell if they were laughing with me or AT me.) I used to study theatre and have a background in the study of humor (no, really... I actually DID waste all those scholarships on an arts degree ), and now I play games all the time! I'm practically perfect for ANY* group!

Q)
What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from
some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) I've been a gamer my entire life, but I started with MMO's back in the text based days... played a little known MUD called "Moongate" (which is still around actually.) I then moved on briefly to UO, then to FFXI after having graduated from highschool. Of course, like most everyone, I decided to try out WoW when it came out and I have played it ever since. I started on launch day and just quit about 3 months back, half from burnout/boredom, and half for yearning for greener pastures. I got into the WAR closed beta and the rest, as they say it, is history.
I'll elaborate a little more if you'll allow me too, but if you find that I'm just rambling, please feel free to move on to the next question. During my time playing WoW, I was a part of a few small guilds, and 2 long-lasting guilds. The first was back around late 2005, it was the first guild I ever felt a part of a family in. We used vent just to chat and of course progressed through what content WAS in the game at the time. I worked my way up to officer of said guild and felt very rewarded in what I got out of it. Sadly, the guild ended up breaking up (drama... *sigh*), and I floated around for another 2 years until last october when me and a RL friend decided to make our own guild on a new server.
My guild actually started very small, but we worked our way up trying to only recruit mature players that shared our philosophies. Out of nothing we were able to work the guild into a raiding guild that got its feet wet up through ZA content in a matter of months from scratch. I did everything for the guild, including running the website and organizing all guild events. I was incredibly proud and had a wonderful community of about 70 players. But as time went on, it dawned on me that the guild couldn't progress any further and it was because of me. I'm a wonderful people person, and got compliments all the time on how I ran things, but I just wasn't cut out to be the guild master. I couldn't do the hard part of being a GM, like punishing people for missing commitments, or enforcing any of the rules we had set up. So I reluctantly gave up my powers and the guild broke up.
When I started planning for WAR, I decided that I would come into this game with the knowledge and experience that can only come from having gone through all of the above. I know where my strengths are, and I definantly know what my weaknesses are. But at the end of the day, I work best when I am with a group of people with similar philosophies and that I can depend on. The "family" aspect of the guild is my favorite part of what MMO's bring to the table. And based off of what I hear this is the place for me.
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) I elaborated above, but I'll sum it up. I'm big on integrity, friendship, and above all, FUN. My experiences over the years both leading and being a part of guilds has given me a trained eye for where I can fit in. I love that you guys value the qualities of the player first, before the character. I'm not looking for a "1337 hardcore pvp guyz!!" guild, and I'm not looking for a "We are raiding 50 hours a week!" guild either. I'm looking for a home away from home, were I can sink my teeth into some WAAAAAGH with my best friends online. And did I mention that I think fart jokes are funny? Just throwing that out there.
BTW, I am pretty big on RPing if any of you are into that too... nothing too hardcore, but my /say channel is usually in character. And punctuation/grammar is important to me. If what I type looks bad it makes the whole guild look bad IMO. Just my 2 brass though. ONWARDS!
Q)
Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some
hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) I studied Theatre at the University of South Florida, and am currently an amateur filmmaker. I love working with all aspects of film, machinima non-withstanding. I intend to have a youtube channel set up with a bunch of my WAR vids and I would love to be a part of the guild and for you guys to also be a part of the films (only if you want! No pressure!!) As a day-job, I work for T-mobile Wireless as a customer service representative. I basically get paid to be yelled at 8 hours a day... but I guess when you get down to it that's just about any job, in a nutshell.
Please remember to register here on these forums.
A) Is this a question? *boggle* Well then. "Yes"
Q) Do you have any questions for us?
A) Sure! First, I know you guys are planning on doing RvR as the main "focus" (which is understandable... WAR IS EVERYWHERE!!!!! *blatant product placement*) of the guild, but just wanted to make sure that the intentions are to go core server right? Because I have little interest in rolling on an open server.
And secondly, more of a request. Please accept my apology for the wall of text above!
