A)No. this is my first ever contact with an MMO guild.

A)I'm not exactly a comedian or a jester but I can joke around with the best of them. I swear that if I wasn't for my sense of humor and my ability to laugh at everything I would never have made it to this point in my life. I am never offended by jokes even if they were directed at me in good humor. I consider myself to be a lively and light-hearted fella.

What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from
some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A)No, I have never played an MMO before. This will be my first ever. I am completely new to this universe. Nonetheless, I have played video games before. The strategy and RPG types were more my cup of tea than the FPS variety.
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other AoC guilds? [let us know!]
A)I have been researching guilds for the perfect one for a few days now. I have visited numerous websites for guilds and I finally decided that yours is the best fit for me. I want a guild that fits my needs as well as one that could benefit from my membership. Perhaps the most important criterion I have for a guild is that its members want to get good clean enjoyment out of the game. Furthermore I want a guild that puts real life matters ahead of the game-life. It seems also that your guild members have a high level of respect for each other and treat each other fairly. You seem to have a tight knit community going on for yourselves. I feel that membership in your guild could benefit me as an MMO noob because I could get proper guidance and initiation from your members and you could benefit from me as that I have enough free time to dedicate to the guild and the game. I understand that many of your members are more mature and professional. You folks all appear friendly as well. Your website is properly done and well-maintained and I think this reflects your professionalism as a group. I also like that you are more PvE oriented as I am looking for a nice easy pace. I am not opposed to PvP but not until I gather my bearings and get oriented to the game and the genre. Truthfully I am not keen on needless competition and aggression (see my comments below) but I am not opposed to it at all when the situation calls for it.
Q) What aspects of Age of Conan excite you the most or worry you? Why?
A)I love Conan. Plain and simple. I have read every book and every comic. That is not necessarily important to know the game but it is what got me interested in playing this game in particular. I would love to be immersed in the world of Hyboria and become a member of its population. I don't know if any prior knowledge of Robert E. Howards' Hyboria would actually help one succeed in the game but it sure will help me to get the most possible enjoyment out of it. I am worried about my not having played an MMO before and how a more experienced community will react to my presence among them.

A)Well, maybe you will find this information helpful in knowing who I am and what I want to get out of the game. I was with a special forces unit when I was injured in a stupid and ugly war about a year ago. I don't have a job or work obligations other than to go to the Veterans Administration hospital every day for a couple of hours and a one hour visit to the gym on a daily basis. I am over my physical injuries but now its the emotional and mental variety that bother me. As a result of my experiences I live an isolated life with few friends or acquaintances. For example I get anxiety when I am around a lot of people, I get flashbacks when I watch the news etc.. I believe that playing an MMO will be a great way to meet people and be involved in a real life community without having to venture outside of my home. Being immersed in a virtual world would also be a good way to escape and forget my reality. I am married and my wife is pregnant so sometime down the road my online presence will be decrease some.

A)I hope your guild members are willing to school someone who has never played an MMO before. IF you do not think that I will get proper guidance and direction and your members will not be patient with me in the beginning then I urge you not to accept my application.
