    Every time I exit the game, it goes back to Windows and several seconds later it gives that Microsoft window asking to send a report because ageofconan.exe needed to be closed.

    Anybody else having this happen?

    yes it does. I'm running vista 64, dx10 and have sli if that helps anyone else that reads this. I'm just glad it's not in game crashes. No crashes yet in game bounce

    This only happens on my XP machine with 8600GT. On my Vista64 machine it runs awesome (4GB Ram and 8800GT).

    I've submitted the error report several times but I'm sure Funcom has bigger fish to fry right now.

    OK, I tried 2 things and didn't get the crash on exit:

    1) launched AgeofConan.exe instead of ConanPatcher.exe (which was what the game put on the desktop)
    2) Quit my antivirus program before exiting. (not sure if this had any effect.)


    So do a 'Find Target' on you AoC desktop icon and see if its the patcher or the regular AoC executable. Try out when I did and see if that helped. Lemme know either way.

    I've always had this also, it was brought up in beta they just haven't got a fix for it yet. But it sure does get annoying for sure.

    Yep, it happens to me about 95% of the time.

    I'm going to try turning off my antivirus and see if that has any effect.

    Yes, it crashes for me also, but only have I have been playing. If I go to the character selection screen and then exit, it doesn't crash. Everytime it crashes, I submit the bug report to FunCom. I'm 100% it will be fixed soon...they have my trust.

    It is random for me and I run the game with no virus scanner in the background at all. Client issue from what I can tell.

    I exited the game several times last night, after the patches, and NO more crashes for me. Looks like they may have fixed this bug. Downside is my FPS went down by about 10 frames...not sure what caused that.

    Only happens to me when I hit "Exit Now" instead of letting it count down from 30 and then exiting from the log in screen.
