by Lame question here about sending a private message through the forums: if I send a message, and then see the message sitting in my outbox and not in my sentbox, does that mean the message can't be sent for some reason?

Also, if you edit it while it's still in your outbox the forum will update the message you sent to reflect the changes. Like Kahan said, as long as it hasn't been viewed by it's recipient yet.
