A) Warhammer, Destruction. Also will play Order as an alternate - I like to see what it's like to play as the some of the classes I'm regularly fighting.

A) Yes and Yes. I also approve of both. One would think something like that is what was left ouf of the constitution. It was a great document and gauranteed us freedom, but they left out the part in big print at the bottom that should have said, "Remeber - Dudes, be cool."

A) Yeah, I'm 33.

A) Several. Then I headed on over to the denied category to see which ones got denied. Now, if only I could find a company where before submitting your resume they let you see people's who got hired and who didn't...

A) No, not directly, but I'm fairly sure that my sister's ex college roommate's mother-lawins cousins sons may be. I mean, come on 6 degrees of separation right? ;-)

A) hopefully you guys don't care about this, but I am pretty utilitarian when it comes to character names. I'm not a big one to make a fantasy name. I use M7_B5 everywhere I go online. Most people pronounce it "Em Seven" and forget the underscore b5 part because it woudl just be a mouthful. So I tend to name all male characters some form of "MSeven." I laugh at how perfect the female characters are in MMO's so for them I use a combination of something from the class and the suffix or prefix "booty". For example, Magicbooty (Soceress) 16, Healingbooty (9 Zealot). In WoW I played a tank named "Bootytank". It's too bad WoW wouldn't let me put a couple of exclamations after it...

A) Yesterday I was walking home from the corner store in the snow. While walking up Milwaukee Ave near Ashland I noticed that an old man, his face covered by a big but very dirty parka hood was following me. Admittedly I got a little nervous, so I picked up my pace. He picked up his pace behind me. That was enough to convice me, either he was going to try to mug me or he was some kind of sexual pervert. Breaking into a run, I suddenly felt embarassed as I discovered that the latter thought had made me clench my butt checks together as I ran. I saw an alley on my right and without thinking ducked into it, only to realize that in less than half a block it dead ended in a building. Turning around looking for something to pick up and fight with I saw the man had entered the alley. As he walked toward me I could see his clothes were torn and shoddy, but his face was not actually old, he was clean, youthful, and seemed to have a healthy complextion. "I have a message for you," he said in throaty barratone.
"Wha... ?" I asked, still looking something heavy I could jack this guy with if he came any closer.
"The messa" he said, and then a shot rang out. The man toppled to the ground, and I could hear the wheels of car skidding after a fast take off.
I nearly peed myself but still manage to run to the man's side. A thin line of blood ran from his mouth, and as he opened his mouth to speak I could see his teeth were coated with blood.
"mer ist"
"What?"
"Hammer "
"Hammer? You need a hammer?" And despite the man's gunshot wound I found myself stupid looking for a hammer as if one would be next to me
"Hammer ist"
"The hammer is?" Who knows, he could have been german right?
"Hammer Fist....."
Those were his last words...
Actually my brother and I have been looking for a guild that was going to be fun and have people like us so I spent some on the search engines and found you guys. But my first story is way more cool so let's stick with it?
Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A) No. I like being in only one guild at a time. I also play guitar in a band and prefer to only be in one band a time. I think it has something to do with team identity. My previous guild was The Doom Divers, who are still there but most of them are Wiscon Death Trip members, who were my home clan for first person shooters. They are all stopped with war when COD World at War came out.
Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) Nope.

A) I thought my butt checks line in my flash short story up there speaks for iteself... ;-)
Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) Yeah. My main online were FPSs a while ago, hence the reason I like the PvP of this game. WDT was a 1942 clan, we played CAL league. Funny, they had nearly the same code of conduct. We were known as the "old guy beer drinking clan". But That's FPS. I've played WoW, City of Heroes, Age of Conan, Planetside, and Tabula Rasa (briefly.) What I get out of online games is the team work. I like having all of these specialized classes that play off each other and being part of a team that fights together. It's so much more fun than single player games and death match FPS fests. I perfer to play support roles, which is why I switched from the sorceress to the Zealot. I am really enjoying playing a healer. I also enjoy Tanks. It's way more fun to win as part of a team than it is to win by yourself in a random pickup scenario if you ask me. I don't know if I'd call that a skill, but part of the like for teamworks means that I don't care much if I am not always doing something super ultra cool. In 1942 you spent a lot of time gaurdin a road or a building where there wasn't any one. I went through a whole match once in a single position sniper nest to guard a road way the enemy never used. It happens. But still, if I hadn't been there and did use that road we would have lost the match.
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) I'm like most guys who are 33 and play video games. We are old enough to know it's a video game. Girlfriends, family, wives, children, work, and all that is what our lives are about, this is just about blowing off steam and enjoying yourself. It's fun. We liked games as kids in the arcade it doesn't surprise me that so many of us find it fun to play. But considering I have a steady girlfriend, a band, and a job those things have their right place. Although I still manage to find a lot of game time, as the pile of dirty clothes in my apartment would attest to...
Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) I'm a software developer for a small chicago firm that does web applications for b2b companies and such. It's fun. I have a great girlfriend and I spend a lot of time with her. I also play guitar in a Chicago band called "Aloha Satan". We're a psychedlic rock group inspired by bands like Fugazi, MC5, Sonic Youth, Black Sabbath, etc. It's great fun. Great app, you'd be surprised how often people say they've read the example apps (good and bad) and they still screw the pooch. Enjoyed your humor and I think you'll make a great addition to our family (such as it is). Check out Hammerfists for RVR goodness, we can always use another zealot.
