Definitely the way to go... The question is if you want to stick to an ATI chipset or don't mind switching to nVidia. Price to performance wise, I don't think you can beat the 8800 GT OC.

I know Dell sells systems with the 8800 card now, but to make sure, I would go to the Dell website and enter your system id. They will be able to tell you for sure if it will fit.
