I tried it out last night, its okay but theres room for improvement. It seems pretty nice to me, although I did have trouble visiting some forums I usually post on. I really like the simplicity of it all.

Looks like it doesn't like some of the JavaScript games that the post page plays. I think it's a pretty neat browser, particularly with process separation. Its handling of JavaScript is fast, so I'm using it now for Gmail and Reader, but I don't use it for general browsing because of the lack of NoScript/AdBlock/etc.

Seems pretty cool, but after reading;
it makes me a little leery of trying it out. I am a little paranoid when it comes to intellectual property and privacy on the internet and until they tone this down I won't even think about downloading it.

That language is from their stock EULA they reuse for various services. It's since been removed, since people were (reasonably) concerned. (Of course, since the Chrome source is available under the BSD license, it's unenforceable anyway.)

However, back on topic. I am finding that since installation that it is interfering with the behavior of both IE7 and Firefox 3.0. In other words, it is not playing nice with the others. Also, I am finding that it is not working real well with web based applications that run on anything but the latest version of Java. Some earlier JavaScripts seem problematic. It really gets squirelly with some Active Server pages as well, more so than Firefox.
I've played with it enough for now. Since it seems to interfere with existing Web materials, it's coming off and I will check back with it when they start talking release candidate.
