Signature Creations

So...
I've never made a forum signature. What software is needed? I'm assuming photoshop or the like. Does anyone have like templates or something or is someone bored and willing to help

Here the forum section for signatures. But what I use is Photoshop CS3 Extended. I know there are a few programs out there that are simple to use for making avatars and sig. Someone might chime in and know what programs are out there.

If you need help just ask. I can walk you though photoshop steps or Illustrator CS2, beyond that...I get stupid.

If you want to do it yourself, photoshop is a start, but really you just need a graphics editor program. I can make one, but not anywhere near the likes of Taltos.
Just messing with the application is a great way to learn. Save your work often. If you like what you have save it, even as a different file name so when you mess up, and you will, you can go back and recover.

sorry but when 2 out of the first 3 replys sugest forum movement....

on another note i would use paintshop pro which also has layers if i wasnt so gosh darn lazy.

plus taltos is so good that well....

Guy and Gals....I would love for someone to at least try to make some....like i said in another post...i will help the best i can.

Also If anyone is good at them...make a post that you would like to help out. Throw some in your art in the post so people have an idea what you can do...graphic art is still art...I make mine different all the time. Taste are different..what I do might not be what someone wants...maybe you hold the skill they are looking for.

Also, what font is Hammerfist Clan written in? I see all your sigs have the same font and I want to be conformitive

Not everyone has the same..just the ones i have done....there is a sticky with the code that we use on the AoC forums...just paste it to the program you use....If i was at home i would email something to use. An plus i dont recall the font name..lol...it's not on this comp

I'd like to know the font as well so I can make adjustments to mine. I have photoshop cs3, but I'm pretty new to it all.

CorpseGoddess isn't too shabby at making them either, as mentioned earlier I think she uses Gimp as well. Maybe she'll chime in here and offer up some tips.

So don't laugh but here is my attempt at layering and stuff. So I'm using Gimp, that seems pretty cool. How do I get the really cool Fonts or banners. All Gimp has is like text, no coool fonts ...

So this sig making stuff is kinda fun once you start playin with it. I really like this one and it's only like the 2nd one I've done yeah me /cheer
