A) Honestly, just heard of you tonight, but I am looking for a medium to large guild that is well organized and fun to run with.

Q) What aspects of Age of Conan excite you the most or worry you? Why?
A) Mounted combat is nice, spellweaving looks interesting I am a bit concerned about PvP leveling. it seems that only the first handful hardcore PvP'ers will ever get the goods, as no one will be able to match their stats to reach the top tiers of PvP.

A) I am an active player, I get on for 2 or 3 hours during the day most days and about 4 every night, not much for organizing events but willing to play whatever is needed to have fun.

A) How many others are trying to roll assasins, seems to be the most popular class so far, I'd hate to see a guild that tried to run with 80% DD and no support.

We have all types beging rolled up at least from our discussions within guild.

So what kind of classes did you like to play in the other MMO's?

Care to, oh, I dunno, expand on your application somewhat? You strike me as someone who is just looking for a guild to join without actually being interested in which guild it is. Personally, I'd like to see you prove me wrong and make me eat crow.

Well, here goes. I have been playing MMO's since I first picked up Asheron's Call around '99. I have always been part of a large guild and actively involved in chat and raids. The name of the guild has never been a deciding factor for me, I prefer to have a good group I can count on to be around when I want to play. As a result size does matter, the more active guild members the more likely I am to have fun when I play. I am currently a PM raid member in Ante Meridiam on the Stormrage server on WoW.

It is true that I don't really know anything about this guild, but as my guild is not coming over to AoC I am currently homeless and looking for a place to hang my hat.

I think the gist of his arument was that we would like to know more about you as a human being; what are you likes, dislikes... do you have a hobbie, what do you do outside of gaming?... etc...

Really, I do have a life. I am a 32 year old pharmacy student. I finish in 2 years then life will be grand. I have a wife and 2 kids. We spend most of our downtime at the beach. We travel to Disney a couple of times per year. Gaming is what I do when everybody else is working and/or sleeping, since I don't do much of either.

I don't like pushy people so much, but I get along with everybody easy enough. I am not easily rattled, life is too short to bother with being angry.

I'm origonally from Riverside, CA and miss my left coast very much. The waves out here are flat and the water is brown.

The app. is a little thin but the follow ups that you are giving are great.

I also hear that assasins are going to be plentiful in this game, but I believe it will work it self out once the game has been going for awhile.

I am supposed to be studying while I am writing this app. I have read through some of the accepted/denied posts and am starting to get a feel for the kind of stuff you guys are looking for in these applications.

I am not really one for long drawn out message posts, but I understand that you are trying to get to know us a bit, which I get. I'll do my best to fill in a few blanks.

Gaming- I would classify myself as an immersive-casual gamer. Let me explain. I have just as much fun seeing how long it takes me to run across the environment as I do killing 3 headed beasts. I like to spend time crafting, but hate grinding for the sake of grinding. I am somewhat goal oriented, as long as the goal isn't too far away. After I am through picking the flowers and enjoying the scenery I am ready to cut something up... preferably the aforementioned 3 headed beast.
I prefer melee classes to magic users because I don't like getting squashed. I love to lay the smack down but it usually comes at too high a price. I would have to say my favorite MMO character was my DDO cleric. AC till the cows come home, not too shabby at keeping a group alive, and sometimes I can hit something.


Life- I am really pretty laid back. It has taken me way too long to figure out what I want to do when they make me grow up (still fighting that one), but I have finally come to pharmacy as my savior. I am looking for maximum return on mediocre effort. It's not that I don't want to be good at what I do, I just get tired of the constant effort.

Inspiration- If you have never seen Naruto I suggest you check it out. You may catch a glimpse of Shikemaru if he isn't off napping somewhere, that is me in a nutshell. When it comes time to get the job done, I'm there, otherwise look for me under a tree somewhere staring at the clouds.

Hope that gives you a bit more insight as to who I am or what I am about. Hope to see you all around in about 5 hours when the auth server comes back online.

Mitch is one of the funniest comedians I've ever heard, and the fact that you can drum up some of his material scores huge with me.

I'm curious though, you made the statement you don't sleep much. Is it the Bill Clinton thing? Where you only need three hours a night? Or is there something else going on there?

I and along with alot of others are married (no not to each other!) and have kids. So we all understand the RL thing and is one of the main reasons I got involved with this group. Or was it the fact I was on pain meds and its all fuzzy

Hiya, just a newb here speaking, but you got my vote. I definitely chilled my sodapop with the question answer part of your app, but you have given your app attention and done a swell job. The shows a lot and is great, which rhymes with 8, which is what i am giving it out of a possible 10. You can't score the last two points cause you're a dude, gotta save the love for the ladies!!
