I like this one and I agree it is easier to read. I have always preferred dark backgrounds though.

Thought I'd try something a little more neutral. The colors, images and fonts seem to "pop" a little more. We'll give it a try for a lil' while. We can always go back if our eyes start to bleed too much.

Actually, I am finding some things harder to see, example, anything is more than 30% grey is getting lost to me. Now this may be just these old eye of mine... The edges of the crowns in the forums that do not have a new entry, Ulfaro's name (because of the grey shade of the text), etc are washing out for me.

Aye, that's "sorta" intentional. Meaning yeah, most of us are probably seeing those things you mentioned the same as you. I may rework some of the icons over the next couple of weeks. GM name color will probably not get changed too much however.
