A)Yes, I’m over 18 years of age. I’m 33 years old.

A)I have read several of them; including the rejected applications. I believe you are looking for truly interested players and not “drive-by” hit a bunch of guild applicants.
Q) Do you have any relatives or friends currently in the guild, or were you recruited by someone? If so, who?
A)No, I do not know anyone in the guild nor have and friends that have applied.

A)Marquess, if I didn’t already screw that up. I accidentally registered for forum access thinking that it was needed to post an application. I’ll probably find out that I won’t be able to use this name for the forum in a few moments.

A)I live in the west. Gardnerville, NV. If you need a reference point, it is 45 miles south of Reno and 11 miles east of Lake Tahoe.
Q) How did you hear about us: [friend, another member, forum, google, other mmo's, etc]
A)I spent a lot of time searching the AoC forums for guilds that most fit my interests. I wasn’t looking for hardcore, but instead I was searching for a mature guild on a PvE server that understood the interruptions a professional might have in real life. That was a long way to say I heard about you on a forum…lol
Q) Are you currently in any other Age of Conan guilds?
A)No. I have looked at two others after my search, but Hammerfist Clan is my first choice.
Q) Have you applied to any other Age of Conan guilds?
A)No, I will wait to hear back from you guys and hopefully I won’t need to look elsewhere.
Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A)I’ve got a great sense of humor. I was a class-clown growing up and now I teach high school students that keep me young and up to date on the new jokes. I have a thick skin and I’m not easily offended…if that is where this is leading. I spent 6 years in the military and God knows I needed to use humor to get past some of the boring/stressful times.
Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A)I have played many MMO’s short-term and a few long-term. Short-term: Ultima Online, Final Fantasy XI, Eve Online, World of Warcraft. Long-term: Vanguard SoH (6 months), Everquest (2+ years), and Everquest II(3+ years).
I think saying I’ve acquired skill is all relative to each game, but I’ve learned quite a bit. I know the importance of listening to the raid leader on a raid and the dynamics each class brings to a raid. I know the importance of taking too much aggro, over-healing, under-taunting, etc. I’m great in group settings or raid and realize the importance of communication. Good lines of communication lead to a successful guild as well…that is something else I’ve picked up.
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other AoC guilds? [let us know!]
A)I feel that The Hammerfist Clan wants to be a part of AoC for the long haul. It’s important for me to have found a guild that realizes the demand of family and a job, yet still seeks quality game play of its members. I’m a teacher and can play a ton in the summer, but not as much during the school year. It’s nice to know that wouldn’t get me kicked from a guild. I also seek a guild that evaluates all of its members and does not just spam invite everybody. I want to know that time was put in to evaluate my fit and that the same amount of time was put in for the guy/girl standing next to me. I think you guys are doing that and that leads me to believe that you will be successful. Additionally, I’m looking for a PvE friendly guild with some west coast members. Those are the elements that led me to believe that you would be the best fit for me.
Q) What aspects of Age of Conan excite you the most or worry you? Why?
A)I’m desperately looking for a new MMO! Vanguard flopped and flopped hard on me. What I’ve seen and read has me excited about the combat system and the FFA PvP. I’m not a fan of being on a FFA PvP server, but I love that we will have the option to do so at certain areas on PvE servers too. These classes don’t seem to be the typical Sony “cookie-cutter” classes either. It’s going to be refreshing to try something new.
Q) What is your forum name on the official AoC forums?
A)Marquess…I believe.
Q) Is there any other information about yourself you would like to share with us?
A)Yes. I absolutely love MMO’s and my fiancé, soon to be wife, hates them. Sometimes my play time is limited, but if I commit to something you can be sure that I will see it through. I will have 3 months off (summer) to help this guild excel should you accept me. Once school starts back up, I will still be around a lot, but most of my time will be on weekends and late weekday evenings. I’m always willing to help out guild members when I am on too. It sucks being the new guy to a game and not getting any help, so I like to help as many as I can.
