Well, I'm on the LEFT coast, and other than sou'westers, have all of the above around these parts (Seattle).

And haven't found a microbrew yet, that I don't like! Of course, brewing my own may have done something to my taste buds...

You must be near/in the U.P.? My wife is from Milford (Highland) about an hour west of Detroit...

Oh I havnt got a UP accent but I'm only about 45 minutes south of the bridge so we get plenty of em down this way. Got a couple folks in my college from up yonder. I'm from Petoskey btw, your wife has probobly heard of it if she grew up in Michigan.
