I guess I am a purist snob. After living in Germany, I am ruined for beer. Even the "imported" German beers are watered down to suit American tastes and regulations.
I prefer single malt Scotch, a good brandy, and straight up dark rums. Captain Morgan is about the only deviation I'll make there but only if I am making Grog.
