Anyone else have experience with these. My reading and you-tubing of them tends to be more positive then negative. I want something I can Ikariam from the toilet, Starbucks, and Togos.

Headed over to the store now to check these out.....still not 100% but I can see me getting some mileage out of it. This one has the 6 cell battery....over 5 hours!

If you have big fingers, or bad eyes, you are in a world of hurt. These things are SMALL! Email and web browsing, as long as there isn't a lot of graphics or video involved, is all they are good for. Also, bear in mind it is sharing RAM with graphics. This means you will be losing 64+MB of RAM to run the video in this dinky thing. Considering that you have just 1GB to play with losing any RAM is going to impact the performance of the 'puter.
Also, beware of "open box" items. It was either defective or they didn't like it. There is no guarantee that all the original parts/docs are there.

If the users of an ISP I use to work for only knew...
I used to run the Help Desk for a local ISP remotely from my home. More than once I took calls while "enthroned". I did have the good grace not to flush while I was on the phone with a user.
I also took calls while swinging a hammer to build a garage one summer. Wonderful things cordless phones and noise canceling headsets.

oooh!! a quiz!
1. I despise lugging around a 17" laptop that feels like a ball and chain. Something I can use to be more mobile, easily accessible with a decent lasting battery...is a sure winner for me. Plus I'm using it to read ebooks from bed, the commode, the street, Togos, Starbucks, work, cafeteria.,etc... The footprint is small enough that it takes little room on a desk yet performs like a champ. Office2007..no match for the Atom©!
Gonna try Photoshop on it.2. Some people are experiencing driver related issues w/64 bit. I don't want to deal with that right now. Once it looks like there's more support for the 64 bit drivers, I'll make that assessment again.
