I feel for you guys living in the colder areas.
It's 72 deg. here in AZ during the day.
Of course when you guys are enjoying your mild summers, we're here sizzling like bacon. ... I know I know, but it's a dry
heat. But 115 deg. in the shade is still freakin crazy no matter how
you slice it!
I hear you, Brakk, and have shared your pain. (Lived in Mesa and Tempe for 6 years.) East TN is normally pretty mild, but every now and again we get a piece of the Arctic Express. Last night, and tonight, are one of those times. My backyard wx station says we 1 degree over night and they are calling for more of the same tonight.
I can testify, and the folks living in the colder climes can corroborate, like the heat, once you get past a certain point the numbers do not mean a thing. It is just fricking HOT/COLD!
At least with it being cold, you can get a the fire going and find a friendly body to cuddle up with. When it's too hot, those are the LAST things you want. Personally, the cold is more fun. (As long as you don't have to go out in it.)
