My new house!!!

So, I am having a house built, my first home on top of that, and today was the first day I saw the house since they broke ground. Here are some pics, they are cut off a bit, but you can see the full pics in the gallery section...

So exciting - congrats!

My in-laws just got their new house finished a couple of months ago. It was quite the process, but was so cool to get it just how they wanted. I would love to have a house built someday, though that's probably quite far off from us. Right now, I'm just looking forward to being done with apartment living.

Like Averna, I'm just ready to be done with renting. All that money wasted...but at least I don't have to plow my driveway!

Thanks all. I am excited about it. I went in to look at a couple of available houses in the area and they just didn't feel right, although they were really nice houses. Got to talking to the development guys and found out I could build a home to spec for the same price. Figured, "What the hell." Might as well right?
