Q) What MMO do you currently have the most interest in playing?
A) Warhammer, I have heard rumors of other games in the far distant future, but nothing that would cause me to waiver for the long term.

A) Yes.

A) Yes, 35 this year.

A) I have read a few applications.

Q) Do you have any relatives or friends currently in the guild, or were you recruited by someone? If so, who?
A) Zular. I have known Zular in RL for the last three years, we have also played several MMOs together, he tells me you guys are a warband that is "chock full of awesome people."

A) I plan on having Tinolt, and possibly a Grekt. Due to my terminal lack of being able to run an alt for any length of time, only one of these will see alot of gametime.

Q) Gender: [female, male]
A) Male

Q) What region do you live in? [City and State is fine.]
A) Edwards AFB, California...not by choice...the desert is not my favorite environment.

Q) How did you hear about us: [friend, another member, forum, google, other mmo's, etc]
A) Zular did a ton of reasearch to find the perfect guild. I watched over his shoulder (due to the fact I had to move and would be on the road when the game hit the streets).

Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A) None. I was in LoTRO and AoC guilds, but no longer play any of those games.

Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) I have not applied for any other Warhammer guild. In the past though I have been through many processes, to include roleplaying interviews held in game, online applications, and being invited to a guild after having talked to the guildmaster in game several times (without knowing they are the guildmaster).

Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A) I like sarcasm...ok my wife hates my sarcasm...but others seem to think I am funny. I have been known to make other groan in the past as well with bad jokes, but that won't stop me from trying.

Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) hmmm lets see. I started back on Ultima Online (*best backpack system*), moved to EQ (*loved the mounts and AA*), and when EQII came out I switched (note: my guild that was supposed to make the switch as well...decided not to and no one told me). Two months after starting EQII, I found out while on a trip that my laptop would not run EQII, but would run WoW (thanks to the free trial disk my friends gave me). Eventually I broke out of WoW and jumped with tons of hope into DDO, but other than Zular all our other friends quit, so we got board. This gave us free time, and no MMO so we played some Toontown with my daughter (that game is fun, and has the best housing system in the MMO market). LotRO was our next foray, and while we loved it, the endgame showed up way to quick. AoC was the next anticipated game, but by lvl 60ish the game got really boring. Now it is time to try out Warhammer, I also play the mini version of Warhammer, so I can't wait to get in the world.

Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) Well I could say one thing or another, but it really comes down to the high recommendation of Zular, so I don't think any flowery words are required here.

Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) Well I am a 35 year old Air Force Sgt. I am currently assigned to Edwards AFB, California. I have served for 12 years, and plan on serving for at least 8 more.

I am also married (got married three days before basic training, so 12 years), and have a 9 year old daughter. We have two dogs (Levi (old and grumpy) and Paco (young and carefree...a little slow as well)), and two chinchillas).

My hobbies include computer games (FP shooters, roleplaying, MMOs), Xbox 360 (FP shooters, racing, roleplaying), D&D (hmmm more roleplaying...), other roleplaying games (guys I am in a rut), mini games (warhammer, warhammer 40k, warmachine), and soon to be 4-wheelers (ok have to buy them first, but seems like fun). Just looked at the question and it said aside from gaming...but I am not erasing this section now, I have gone to far look back, and beside it says I want to do some 4-wheeling...that is not gaming!

I like to read books in my spare time as well, true to the above information most of my reading is fantasy and scifi based. I don't watch alot of TV, but do like the shows, so I generally get them on DVD when they release the seasons. I am also addicted to the Amazing Race...the only reallity show I like. I do like to cook, and am slowly working on my skills, I like the show Good Eats, lots of good info...and funny to boot.

Or were you referring if we have "event" like groups and whatnot? I dare say we have people on everyday especially during primetime including friday/weekends

Toontown! I must admit I put in some time when it was in beta (and free) several years ago. Definitely fun and overlooked. If I recall, it was truly the first MMO to have an open party system (sorry WAR), but unfortunately you couldn't talk to the other players outside of some predefined phrases. I installed it again recently for my son to try out (he's 4). We had a pretty good time, but the game is definitely showing its age. It still seems like a really good example of how to introduce the youngins to basic MMORPG mechanics, though.

I'm a geek in a closet, =/ I don't think many people in my RL even know that I play MMOs, hah!

hmmm, little army men. are we talking flames of war here? I played it for a while but I have the artistic ability of a bug and I am a total perfectionist so I could never get into the hobby without getting pissed off. That and warhammer, and warhammer 40k among other things, although I did stick with lord of the rings warhammers for a while

Lol So many things to quote and respond to in an closed app..

Umm I do kinda of hide my miniature gaming hobby I like to appear mainstream helps with my line of work.. I don't talk up the video games, but I don't hide them per say..

Flames of War.. Locally there is an active following.. game looks cool, tiny figs like that are super easy to paint.. but I have to draw the line somewhere with the number of games I play, and to this point FOW didn't make the cut. Not to say I don't look longingly at riffle companies etc.. but it also looks spendy to get into..

Gun Control.. I shoot a few times a month, so I generally hit what I aim at.. I used to think I could make the hostage shot with my glock but from several competitions I know with as much certainty as humanly possible inside of 50 feet I can make it with my sig 556, around a barricade and through a 6 inch hole.. I still prefer the glock for home work but I will neutralize anything with high consistency and speed under 100 yards with the sig, got lots of documented results showing that..

I compete in practical riffle at my club, I would do ipsic, or practical pistol, but I can't afford the bullets or the time right now.. maybe next year I don't know.. There is a 3 gun match I may go out for next year have to see..

Hobbies are hard to do and support on single income with a sub 2 year old in the house..
