A) None atm. I lost interest after WoW burn out this is the first MMO I've gotten into in a while and I'm thoroghly enjoying it.

Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) No my previous guild in Warhammer was flybynight style. No coordination no team play hell I only saw 1 other person in my region EVER.

Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A) Somewhere between good and Standup. I try to keep myself laid back. Its a game and although there are some moments you can get serious I try to avoid prolonged exposure to anything rational or intelligent.

Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) EQ, UO, AO, Eve Online, AoA, WoW, LotRO, how big is the character length in the forum? In any case i've run end game on most of the more popular MMO's. All of them lacked a certain challenge element in end game or required way to much micromanaging to get anything going. I'm a specialist in Crowd control, Aggro mgmt (when needed), Group and raid tactics. Group and small raid leading, Not much on healer type me healing means we're already screwed . Always love my DPS classes but, avidly play support classes preferably tanks and utility classes me and healers never worked right.

Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) No real good answer for that honestly. I looked about at the guilds on the server and which ones were doing what and how well and this one seemed to me to be the most organized overall and from the members I spoke with ingame very casual and friendly.

Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) Not much I get to do besides gaming. I fortunately don't have to work and can't afford to do much else. I do have a love of computers and have built them for the last 15 years professionally. Hell several machines I build 5+ years ago still run well. I have odd hours of play tho with the kids in school I tend to play during off hours a bit and evenings.

Hope I didn't screw the app up to badly. I usually do not apply for guilds after a while with certain games guilds usually find me. I've been watching the way the game runs and if you don't have friends here you're sol a bit. As for me in general I have kids which means any activities I enjoy rarely get any time aside from gaming. As with all players I have my space cadet moments as well where I'm here but, my head and my rear aren't talking the same language. If you have any questions I'm usually watching whats going on in game and forum wise.

Not a problem. Hmoses works usually and yea if you are speaking of the late Heston, great actor. H01ym0ses usually works well for handle as well as I see my normal one is taken which is more often as of late. Lemme know if I need to formally adjust it or if what I've done will work.

I'm going to need something a bit more than (paraphrased): "You kick ass, you own the server, you're number one on the charts". We get apps through here like that all the time. Let's assume we were say number 30 on the list. Then, more specifically why would you want to join us? Is it our views on casual gaming? Our 18+ age requirement? Reading through our website you got a feeling you'd mesh with our community? Forum activity got your attention?

I hate even the thought of it, and it pains me to say it, but there may come a time when we slip and lose our grip at the top, then what? Would you leave and move on to the next highest ranked guild? I think many of us would like to know there's more to it, and you'd be here with us through the high times and the low.

I've never been one to hop guilds once I've found one that I'm comfortable with. Don't get me wrong I've left guilds before just never one I've commited myself too. Once I get to know the members I'm pretty much in it for the life of the game. And yea it would seem you guys Kick ass . EQ would be the classic example of my loyality. I started in ND guild, we ran for over a year then we merged with D`etre guild. That guild did faction off after 2 years of play and mainly due to the core team moving I was shifted over to BoP guild which I stayed in for another 2 and a half years. Like every guild they had their ups and downs and I never willingly left the guild. The factioned guild was a core team (the raid team) was unhappy with the change in leadership and that was the cause for the factioning. It wasn't a happy choice I assure you as I still had friends in the other guild as well. Simply a weighing of options and where I would be most comfortable. After nearly 6 years I had in theory been in 1 guild although it swapped names a few times the people I started with in a guild were still with me when I left.

Cake fer sure, pie can be to messy to quick and nothing more annoying then an apple pie someone forgot to pull a seed out of.. I've shot people for less then that.. well he complained my monitor wasn't bright enough what was I gonna do? Random thought Can I has cheezberger pleeze? Random observation, if a fat man falls in the woods do the animals really care? I stay with guilds for the people, not the look how cool we are look how much we can gloat and pwn everyone else. Its about the team work and friendships in a game that I tend to hang around. Small guilds are great if you're all IRL friends and its a choice. I live officially in BFE well maybe a bit further then that and with my social life online gaming is generally what I enjoy doing. I'm not some sort of gaming god nor do I pretend to be all that special. I am however very loyal and dependable when I have some care for the people around me. Also I suck at grammar. I cannot write a sentence properly nor can I figure out where the hell to make a break for a paragraph. Still love my cartoons as I'm watchin Ntoons now Danny Phantom is on. I'm a bigger kid then most would believe yet I've matured enough to be useful to society, least thats what my mom tells me hehe.

Haven't been able to play in years but, I was an avid paintball fan. The following is a true story none of the names have been changed because, well who cares about their identity. Louisiana, thick forests lush foliage ignorant drivers, yep it was home. Me and 5 other friends were playing a little capture the flag in some old field, posted land of course. The other team was attempting to be sneaky as the team leader had gotten an in the ear two way and was trying to be sneaky about coordinating their attacks against us. Tim, the leader of their team, the overly cocky and rarely correct smartass, was in the process of picking our team off rather well it seemed. Only one problem with his tactic, you gotta talk to use those things and me being a hunter to start with rarely made any noise when I was set. After a while I noticed his voice, wondering what or who he was talking too I flanked his position and understood what was actually happening. Knowing the other members of my team were already taken out I was kind of lonely in the woods now and had to figure out something to do. Still behind Tim I decide its CTF best move is a break for the flag and for good measure I'd take Tim out from behind maybe a good head shot would be justice. I snap off about 20 rounds (Just to make sure) hitting him about the back and head even got an ear shot . Then I proceed to take off toward the flag position, little did I know the rains the previous night had not dried here and the area of my approach toward the flag was a gooey one. Around 50 yards out I start taking fire from one of the other two members and out of the corner of my eye I spot him and fire a few running snap shots oddly enough one was a crotch shot, the ball gods favored me. Now with only one person left with me his fire reigns down from the opposite side and I'm completely open, firing back not being as lucky with my shots on him. Here is the odd yet painful part of the story. I have no choice now but to make it to the flag my position is blown I'm at a dead run and only 20 or so yards from it. I've finally gotten the flag near my grasp but, the mud that was lingering from the previous night got me. I begin to stumble, not really a good thing from a full sprint as there is nothing between me and the ground. Barely pulling my feet out for the last couple yards I notice that the ending of this run is REALLY going to hurt. Some monkey has put down broken cinder blocks in the mud as a cattlestop and wouldn't know it my falling path is directly in line with them. Already commited and way to out of control to do anything I reach out and some how manage to grab the flag. My balance is trashed I'm going down and its not going to be pretty. Knees first I hit the cinderblock garden. I skip once or twice and both shins and the tops of both feet slam the cement. My hands go down to prevent my face from meeting pavement, however my mask shielded me from alot of the mess. My gun goes flying bouncing off the blocks and I'm doing my best superman routine at this point waiting for my body to stop flying. After my touchdown I know its not good my legs hurt from the knee down both elbows are throbbing and moving my legs isn't something I'm going to do on my own for a bit. Near tears from the ordeal I notice that I have the flag still in hand. A minute passes before everyone arrives to laugh at me realizing that it wasn't just a great wish I caught it on film moment that I was actually in pain. To their shock and mine all I could manage through the pain was I got the flag so we win right? Now the laughter really breaks out and I'm having trouble containing mine as well even through the pain. After about 10 minutes my legs stop hurting as much but, hell if I'm walking after that ordeal. Needless to say they carried me from the field of victory to my car where I quickly realized there is no way in hell I can drive a standard right now... No animals were harmed in the making of this story. Well at least none I want to speak of. And no didn't break anything not sure how but, yea I was on crutches for about a week after that. Morale of the story, get thicker kneepads and pick a different field to play in next time. Yea I know lying there in pain and my first thought was hey I got the flag seems a bit odd but, hey I'll take my humor when I can. My gun survived as well and went on to write an award winning novel titled "Some Idiot Threw Me on Some Rocks Can I Sue Him?" and is currently living somewhere in New York.

Now that was a good story!

A bit more insight into how I work/play in games. All fun aside for a moment, if that's possible from me, I do have a tactical side and work very well in coordinating plans. I'm not sure how many of you have heard of Upshift Strikeracer as it's a semi obscure game that is dying and its a shame. In a nutshell its death race with better looking cars. I was recruited directly from the club leader who's club was ranked 3rd overall. We did very well in most club outtings and I started with the basics on helping our new members evolve into killing machines. I worked with Ac1dus my partner in crime with some basic tactics for the game and put them into a small post on the forums. Well this sorta snowballed into an eventual 7 part tactics novel which got circulated around the entire community and was highly praised for its accuracy and simple workings. They did decide to finally have a best of the best club tourney which was really a great idea for them, application of the tourney was suspect but hey can't win them all. It was simple 16 teams top ranked would compete in a single elim match race for the first USR title. 4 man teams with alts would be allowed alts could be any club or non club memeber not to exceed half the team. We had everything setup wonderfully, our tactics had not yet filtered to everyone, a few players had their hands on it none the less. We start the tourney off with a man down due to locale time issues as half of our players were not from the US which meant that 2:00 pm start time PST wasn't working for our member in london. We have to run a 3 v 4 match which at the time was not looking good for us. Fortunately one of their team members was unable to show as well and a 3v3 was agreed upon. We had no time to prepare for this race as at the last minute they decided to change the map selection and we were not ready for the map they chose. Lucky the other team had the same problem. This race went off semi smoothly as neither side stuck to any sort of tactics or plans, nerves or just bad judgement I don't really know and we pulled out the win. Yes not to gloat but I did cross finish first this race.

Round 2 Much better preparedness this time and our 4th member showed up 2 min before the race begins. This race was much less of a challenge then the previous as the team we were up against had never faired well against our club. We had almost no challenge here as our planning and numerous hours prior to the race with tricks and tactics worked out rather well. Unfortunately I didn't get across first this race Ac1dus managed to pull it off. I was way to busy racking up a kill count for the race.

Round 3, this is the race we all were dreading. It was against the number 1 team in the game and we have taken them during normal runs however the W/L ratio was decidely in their favor. This race was the pivotal race in the tourney and we had to get our act together to win it. This race was even more difficult due to the track selection as the small track made it tricky and lagging behind to allow the leader to pass was a good way to maintain focus on him and either kill or assist easily. I opted for the fallback tactic as they allowed it in game and they oddly didn't choose to do this, I'm not sure why they didn't but, it worked out in our favor. Early in the race they were doing what I expected, using their bigger vehicles with heavier armor to bully our players. There are more or less 2 types of vehicles in the game. The tank types which they have 3 or 4 of and the racer types which dominated the selection. They chose to split the seam with 2 tanks and 2 runners as it were. We went runner heavy as the bigger vehicles have a slight speed problem top end. Our fall back man was doing what he could against these heavy vehicles just harassing them was what we needed to keep their armor low and allow us a quick kill or force them to be defensive. This battle went on for 5 solid laps, the lead changing hands every few seconds all the way to the end. The final margin for victory on this race was a meager .04 seconds. I had pulled out a narrow victory over them and fallen out of my chair screaming and yelling as well. I much needed valium would have been so nice (j/k).

Round 4. The final race. Number 2 club vs. Number 3 club. I honestly was not putting as much time and effort into this race as I had the last one. Don't get me wrong I did plan and work out the strategies with my club with the same resolve just not as much in the minute details. This was a simple 3 lap race on a very long very decidedly fast track. Errors on this track would be costly as speed was very much a factor. We worked long and hard early in the race as we chose the wrong setup for our team in which we went with 2 tanks and 2 runners which should have been 3 runners. They had a lot of speed in their line up and only 1 tank. We were slightly disadvantaged here which worried me. I didn't want to come this far and be knocked out by a bad call on my part. We ran early with our tanks sprinting from the starting line to gain some ground on the opposition to help keep them at bay while our runners would lie back a bit out of firing range a bit to allow us to run interference for them. This worked well until both me and Ac1d got bumped back at the same time. I was playing catchup most of the race and was taking down as many people as I could just to give our runners a bit more time. Unfortunately their speed was holding our runners back more then I could compensate for and we were in real danger of being knocked out of the race completely. Last lap I'm currently in 6th place harassing their lead runner (not the race leader just their better racer) and manage to take him down coming out of the last big turn. Only 4 people in front of me two of their members were leading Ac1dus was in 3rd and their lone tank was just in front of me closing on Ac1d who was the other tank for us. I'm still not sure how he managed to get up there nor do I want to argue with it. I close on their tank and begin to riddle him with MG fire for the time holding my last missile for emergency. Finally an oppotunity arises where I can wall him setting him to far back to retaliate and giving Ac1dus precious time to make a run for the lead unaccosted. Missile away praying my timing on the round was accurate, it bumps his vehicle just enough to put him into a median wall divider stopping him dead in his tracks. Now it was all up to Ac1dus to pull out the win. They were on the final back straight with 15-20 seconds left in the race. I can't say for sure how he managed to do it but, I see one takedown from him and less then 2 seconds later a second takedown from him and I'm really not sure how. He had a clear run to the finish save a few Leader killer powerups which I provided protection for before the race. Final result he had a 5 second lead crossing the finish and I pulled out a solid 3rd for the overall victory.

Bit wordy but, hey you guys wanted stories. This one was a bit more serious then the previous with good reason as well. I can be very tactically sound and focused when needed and work well within groups and coordinating as well as designing ways to attack situations. I'm not sure if our story is still posted on the forums at USR as I wrote something similar for them as well which went over rather spectacularly as well. I do miss that game the car combat part strictly PvP in nature was great they just forgot to take care of the game. In 10 months since I was crossing that line only 1 update has been done. Hope this was a good read for you as well and I can come up with a few more if needed.

I think you might be confusing really wanting to be in the guild with trying hard to be noticed... I liked his stories, they didn't brag, and though they could use some paragraph breaks (hehe), I think he comes across as a pretty genuine dude.

Not so much trying hard to get in just trying to give a better picture of who I am overall. I'm laid back to begin with but, I have a very tactical nature when the situation calls for it. I prefer to avoid being overly serious when possible as its not really my style. I don't mean to come across as braggy or overly anal just to show I adjust to the situation when needed. Hope this helps a bit about what to expect from me if you choose to have me in the guild. I will do my best to uphold the humor and respect of members.
