Q) What MMO do you currently have the most interest in playing?
A) WAR.
Q) Have you read our Code of Conduct and Forum Rules?
A) Yes'm.
Q) Are you at least 18 years of age? [yes, no, actual age is optional]
A) Yep, 27.
Q) Have you read at least one of our example applications? [this is highly recommended]
A) Yeah, I read a handful, both rejected and accepted.
Q) Do you have any relatives or friends currently in the guild, or were you recruited by someone? If so, who?
A) I don't, but my amigo Loathing should be applying as well. It'd be nice, you know, for the naming scheme.
Q) Name: [planned in game/forum name]
A) Fearand
Q) Gender: [female, male]
A) male and afraid of women
Q) What region do you live in? [City and State is fine.]
A) Oshkosh (by gosh), Wisconsin
Q) How did you hear about us: [friend, another member, forum, google, other mmo's, etc]
A) I scoped out a handful of guilds. I haven't noticed you guys in-game, but I was impressed by your website (which I have read a lot of) and th rules of 18+ and no drama.
Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A) Nope.
Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) In WAR? No. But I have been in guilds in other MMOs.
Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A) My mom thinks I'm funny. I love humor, it's an art form. Brevity is the soul of wit: I like snappy one-liners and tossing them at people who ramble on. I rarely take things personal, as long as its funny, its not a real insult. Also, I saw Mitch Hedberg not long before he died. He was good.
Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) I have played almost every single one of them, no joke. I beta-tested Ultima Online as a young lad and played that for years, then SWG for a while before Jedis ruined the game, then WoW. I tried LotRO, it was good but too grounded in the Tolkien world (i love lotr, but I don't want to engage in any hobbit bro-mances). Tabula Rasa flopped, and AoC fell apart for me after I left the first port.
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) 18+, no drama, and I've enjoyed what I read on the forums. Also, I have not liked what I have read on OTHER guild's forums. In comparison. To yours. I love hitting things with virtual swords and cracking wise.
Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) I'm a spelling nazi, so I can win any argument by simply pointing out that you spelled something wrong. I read a lot and I love good TV. I'm an aging college student with some savings. I was recently bummed out about David Foster Wallace offing himself. My creative writing professor knew him and said that my word-love reminded him of Wallace a little bit (not in my writing, my writing is crap so far). Pick up any of Wallace's short story collections: if you have quality reading acumen and/or quick access to a dictionary, his work will rock your feeble world. I lived in Europe for a few years growing up.

A) Will do.
Q) Do you have any questions for us?
A) Nope, forum-scouring gave me a lot of info.
