What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from

A) For MMOs that I've played for 2 years or more, I started with PlanetSide, then City of Heroes, then WoW... with a few smaller ones mixed in (and some bigger ones that never took). I'm still active in WoW.

Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) I looked around at a bunch of guilds and I feel you all are the closest fit to what I'm looking for (understanding of real-life issues and time restraints, for example... and you all seem to have a good sense of humor) -- and you seem to be pretty ready for WAR. From my experience in other MMOs, being in a good guild makes all the difference in how enjoyable the game can be.

A) I'm a web developer (programming, designing, etc..) and I like to run to stay in shape... I have three kids (vary from ages 6 to 14) that keep me pretty busy...

I'm not leaving WoW completely -- I have a good guild over there. I'm going to be playing it less, but I have time for both games since all I'm doing in WoW at this point is grinding honor and going on the occasional raid.

Phelps went to my high school (many years after I graduated... but that's my claim to fame) ...

It's ok -- I was just curious in case there was a conflict of interest in WoW... my primary focus will be WAR when it comes out.

Your web designing skill set, does this also include flash sites?

I think some of us are still trying yo get a "feel" for your personality.

Yeah, I re-read my app and realized it was a bit dry... especially compared side-side with Entropy/Mixa's app (on a side note... I'm wondering if he's the same Entropy I knew in CoH...)

To answer your first question -- I have done Flash sites in the past... as far as my web skills are concerned, I'm like a swiss army knife -- I can do almost anything, but not great at any one thing. Just like if you need to unscrew something with a screwdriver, you don't seek out a swiss army knife... but if you have it on-hand, then great... I think I just insulted myself and my web abilities. :-/

...so, a good story.... or an embarrassing one...

There was a time when I was at McDonald's -- I ordered two super large drinks and they put it in one of those cardboard carrying things that are not meant for the really big drinks (as I found out) . I turned and one of the drinks fell out and exploded on the ground and hit me and the people around me. The cashier person said 'no problem.. we'll take care of it' and got me a new one...

So, I turned completely around and started to walk, and the other one started to fall -- I tried to break the fall with my leg, but instead it actually rolled (on its side) down my leg and continued (at a very fast pace) to roll away until it hit the trash/half wall thing at the back of the line and exploded... all over the other half of the line behind me. This time the cashier said nothing as they got me a new drink and took the cardboard thing away... I asked it I can help clean up (I at least threw away the cups and the ice), but they said they couldn't allow it, so, I carried my drinks out by hand... which I should've done to begin with instead of inadvertently throwing two soda bombs...

It was quite a while before I went back to that McDonald's...

One more thing to say about what I will contribute to the guild -- I'm the type of player who will drop what I'm doing to help out another guildmate... there are times when I've put my kids to bed and they keep getting up... in those situations, I'll say I'm afk on and off too much, but I'll help once I know I won't have to get up and get water... or a tissue... ... or turn the fan on... or keep one of my kids from jumping on top of the one whos actually trying to sleep... etc...

Heh, I completely understand the off/on afk thing. I have to do that sometimes too. Sometimes kids just dont want to go to bed.
