Too much time playing MMOs when:

• You are in the forest and see a bear and you try to make him your pet.
  
• You yell “LFG” when being picked for sports teams.
  
• You inspect people’s clothing to see if they are enchanted.
  
• You don’t know someone’s name and you look above their head.
  
• You go to a funeral and you try to loot the corpse.
  
• You pass a cop and wonder if you just aggroed him.
  
• You ask a store clerk how much you can sell your shoes for.
  
• You buy a bag from the store and you check to see how many slots it has.
  
• You visit airports just to get more flight paths.
  
• You ask to be Master Looter when shopping at the mall.
  
• You climb on top of your mailbox and dance.
  
• You are still reading this.
  

• You’re in a difficult meeting at work, someone stands up and says
  “To hell with you guys, I quit.”, and the next thing you say is “Can I
  have your stuff?”
  
• You rationalize playing for an extra 5 hours because then you’ll only be paying an even 10 cents per hour for the month!
  
• A beautiful woman/handsome man asks you if you’d like to meet for

• Your dog’s ears perk up when the computer plays the “quest completed” sound, and she starts wagging her tail excitedly.
  
• Your boss tells you that you need to go on a weeklong retreat with
  no internet access, and you feel your insides writhing in terror.
  
• You didn’t find the World of Warcraft South Park episode very funny at all.
  
• One of your guildmates announces that they’re going to cut back on
  playing because they are getting married, and your first thought is “Loser.“
  
• After months of relentless effort, you and your guild finally kill
  the one monster in the game that no-one else has ever killed. Then you
  discover, to your horror, that only hours before, another guild already
  did it, and they’re already posting screenshots of their win. You
  immediately start trying to figure out how they faked the pictures.
  
• You find yourself saying things like “My online friendships are just as valid as my real-world friendships.”
  
• The game goes down suddenly. You spend the next three hours hiding

I was just thinking of you when I read that too.

As for mine...

You are typing something and you hit the tab button for the auto-complete/translate. (FFXI fans will know)
You are typing an official e-mail at work and find it filled with lol's and emoticons that have no business there.
You deploy for 6 months and figure out ways to bypass military firewalls so that you can post on your favorite forums if not play your favorite game.
You buy a second computer monitor so that you can play an MMO on one while reading up on the same MMO on the other.
You buy a third computer monitor so that you can play an MMO on one while reading up on the same MMO on the second and playing a second MMO on the third.
You mean to go to bed by 2300 only to look at the clock and notice you have to be at work in an hour.
You play MMOs for too long during the week and plan to catch up on sleep over the weekend only to drink 6 pots of coffee on an all weekend playing spree.
You end up getting the eye-crud because you spent all weekend staring at your computer screen.
You end up losing your job due to downsizing and play an MMO 24/7 living on your savings until it runs out and then deploy to restock your savings only to do it all over again.
You post on forums from work using unusual means, i.e. iPhones, because the sites are blocked at work.
You buy a cell-phone card for your laptop just to hide it in a corner at work and go to it to talk to friends or craft.
