    Hi all,

Ok, so I have a fairly good comp, 680i motherboard with sli capabilities.

I have a 8800gt in at the mo, and a free PCI-E slot, just begging to be filled with another of those babies.

The question is: Is it worth the cash to get another 8800gt, or wait for a single better gcard to come out?
What is the performance like? Does it massively increase fps? I've heard it does ( I am big into good fps )?

I currently have LOTRO on Ultra high settings (with mega texture pack) and AA on 4x. Runs smooth as a baby's bum. (1680x1050)

Now, I'm going for WAR very soon and advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks guys.

I've heard you dont double your power its only something like a 40% increase so its better to get one good card rather than sli.

Agree with Darkhan. I wouldn't spend the money to SLI, unless you happen to have money to burn. Get one of the new cards that is out if you absolutely have to have a new card. Your 8800gt should do fine with the game though.
