    n52te help...

Post by canthar on Sun May 25, 2008 11:27 am

Ok now I should probalbly know how to do this but I don't know how to set kets for alt+x or shift+x type functions? Do I really need to set macro's for these? Just want to be able to use the extra hot bars. Thank in advance. Other then that this thing works great. I love it for AoC.

Yep, you'll have to setup 2-keystroke macros in the n52te's software and then bind the macro to the key/button you want to use.

    Launch the editor

    Open your correct game profile

Right click the button you want to setup a macro for

    click new macro

    name your macro

    click start recording

then press the buttons in the order you want your macro to proceed
i.e. (hold alt down, press and release f1, then let off of alt - that would setup alt+f1)

    click stop recording

    and you are done

i don't have the n52te software, but with the N52, you can select to not record the delays. This makes alt hotkeys instant, and saves you the trouble of deleting all the time delays.

Also in the n52te software there is a checkbox that says "ignore delays between events" so even if your macros have delays inserted, you can check it to ignore them.

You also have the option of clicking the select all delays and hitting the delete button to clean them up.
