Ok I'm looking to buy a new computer. My current one is seriously lacking. So I'm looking into an alienware computer. Specifically these two: Area-51® m9750 (Laptop) and Area-51 7500 - Gamers’ Choice (Desktop). I would really appreciate it if some people would be willing to give me their thoughts and advice. I don't really know much about the computers of today. I am looking for a computer to play games. That's basically it. Occassionally watch some movies.

If you think I could get a better deal or something from another company let me know. I don't really know who builds good gaming computers anymore. I haven't kept track of this stuff in years. I appreciate all the help yous guys give. Thanks.

there are lots of options at newegg and elsewhere

if you like paying more than its worth then stick with a namebrand like alienware otherwise look around a bit

Sweet. Basically the same computer. No monitor, supposedly crappy speakers, and no cool chassis but basically the same. Do you think that not having the dual video cards will affect the quality of graphics that much?
