Best place for this is nVidia's website. Go there an put in your graphics card... It will take you to the support page where you can download the current drivers... The installation is as simple as clicking on the EXE you download.
If you are having trouble, post your graphics card model # and OS Name/Version, and I'll post up the link.

make sure you uninstall your old drivers first. You can usually do this in the add/remove program area.

I finished the download and when I hit play it told me to download the nvidia driver 169.21 for my dule 7600. When I did and restarted my computer it loaded but my screen is blank. Marvick is coming over tonight to see if we can move backwards and so t he download again. any susggestions would be welcome.

You should be able to boot in safe mode VGA... Then you can revert your drivers... Sux that you're having issues man... Hope your buddy can getcha going!

Thanks bull thats the same advice the IT guy at work gave me. But I can't see anything on my screen. He thinks my video card is either dead or detached some how. What a great reason to upgrade from a 2 year old 7600 GTX to oh I don't know maybe an 8800 or dare I say a 9000 level? Oh honey I have to make a run to computer store...

I know most laptop drivers
have to come from the manufacturer of the laptop. Unless you have an
ATI GPU for your laptop, then you can get the ATI tool mod from http://driverheaven.net/modtool.php.
For your laptop I'd check the manufactures website first. I never had luck trying to upgrade an nvidia driver for my wife's laptop from the nvidia site. It always told me "not compatible". That's why I bought an ATI for my laptop lol
If anyone knows of a mod to upgrade nvidia mobility chip please post the link for me.

for nvidia Mobile GPUs, i always go to http://laptopvideo2go.com
they usually have beta drivers and things like that. The neat thing about Nvidia drivers is that they use a unified driver architecture (or UDA, similar to the Unified Shader Architecture)
SO, with a simple modded inf file, (which is provided by the site) you can install ANY nvidia driver for ANY nvidia card.

No problem, I've been updating my drivers from that site almost religiously since i found it nearly a year ago.
