I am keeping an eye on this game as well. However, since it has been through two developers already, this starting to look like another Duke Nukem deal. It gets lot of buzz and fans salivate at the merest rumor of a possibility of the game being released, but nothing comes of it.
For now, I remain somewhat hopeful. It would be wonderful if it comes even close to my experiences in alt.starfleet.rpg.

Sadly I can see this being an utter failure. All the hype will build up towards it..it'll last a while then bomb cuz it "just didn't have the right stuff".

/agree and I also think this has the potential to be a huge disappointment if it is ever release.

Lol I can't really form an opinion on it yet but I felt like posting it anyway because I am a Star Trek fan and I figured others were as well.
Anybody else looking forward to the movie in March? It probably won't be as good as the older show but I think it's worth a watch.
(To hijack even further: The new Underworld movie was good.)

Depends what ST we're talking about whether or not I'd consider myself a fan. I enjoy episodes of the original, and episodes of TNG. All the other ones like Voyager, Deep Space Nine etc were fail IMO. As for the movies... I liked em all. I'm looking forward to the new one too - and I loved the Underworld movies, can't wait to see the new one!
