Well I updated and logged in this morning and got to lvl 3....then logged out and deleted the entire game. It's definately not up to my gaming standards. You all have fun playing it. Oh well, back to playing on shockwave until swtor comes out

I hear you. I got an archer up to lvl 6. It's very cartoony - got a definite Pokemon vibe that really doesn't help. Everyone pasting smiley faces and shit in the megaspam chat hurts my eyes.

Do you remember the scene from Lost in Translation where Bill Murray goes on that talk show in Japan? I kept thinking about that the entire time I was playing.

I think the fact that it's a free download increases the kiddy factor as well (no credit card needed? sign me up!).

Ah well, if you folks get serious about it and there's a guild, perhaps I'd mess around with it a bit more.

The game is okay. It's fun to a certain degree but I am not sure if I'll stick with it.

I do have a little concern about stretching out the guild too thin. Forgive me if it's not my place to say. We haven't recruited anyone new in a while and some of us (including me) keep switching games. I know that we always have the forums to get together with. Adding game after game for guild branches will do more harm than good eventually? Like I said, it's just a concern of mine. Take it with a grain of salt.

I have to agree this isn't for me. I'm just going to stick with LOTRO for now I think.

Well i think what has happened is, some games have lost appeal to many members....so trying to find "THAT game" is not as easy as it sounds...I know a few of us are patiently awaiting the Darkfall release and just need something to pass the time...The only branch that seems member heavy and full is LOTRO.. which is great...! But not everyone wants to play LOTRO... having a variety of games for members to go back and forth between seems rather a good idea to me..(IMO) Example. I get tired of WAR but want to stick with Hammerfist..well now i have a multitude of options to choose from...On the other hand what if i want to play WOW....well now iam SOL i can go play but it wont be with HFC...So IMO more options means more of us sticking with the community in the long run.! Just my .02

That does make sense. I mean, I am just as bad because I would love to add Guild Wars 2 to the mix. However, that game is a LONG way from now. Now I'm not saying that we do this to any members of our family but I am curious as to know if there would ever become a point where we would drop a branch because of inactivity?

lol I don't mean to keep asking questions. I'm just curious. I ran a small guild for a while in WoW and was an officer (Instance coordinator and coach ftw!) for a large 200+ guild so I get interested in guild politics. As dorky as that sounds.

It would be up to the GM of that game. If the game was still active, and the current GM wished to move on, together we'd find a new GM and keep the guild in that particular branch active. But if the entire branch were dead with little hope of salvation (due to a failed game for example) and with the GM's recommendation, we'd simply close down the entire branch at that point. This is how I feel also, I've stuck with HFC eventhough I'm still a relatively new member. I joined because of WAR, and now I'm on Ikariam and awaiting the next good game. Here's hoping for Darkfall, but even I don't have my hopes up.
