Well I played COH/COV for about 3 days. (I love being ahead on my homework).I played it for about 8 hours altogether and got up to level 6.
I love the concept of being a superhero and doing all the famous poses. However, the game is very frustrating. The interface is wacky (imo) and it is frustrating just trying to move around and to keep the camera behind you. I always use the mouse for my camera angles. I just couldn't get used to using the keyboard for such things. I also died a lot. I stood around for longer than I should've for a group. Therefore, I uninstalled it this morning. I can see how it would've been fun a few years ago.
There are a few other superhero type mmos in the works so I will keep an eye out on them instead.

Ah, you played a superhero..that's where you went wrong darlin...lol It's more fun being EEEEEEEVIL.
But i'm not surprised the game is dying down, lots of ppl looking towards the future for Superheroes/Villains...and if there's 1 way to go for those..it's DC.
I did love my Corruptor though, damn she was awesome...All wrapped up in black leather, with barbed wire wrapped around her forearms and stiletto boots. She was fun to play, I always had a group. Course I healed so...heh..Always a + when ya need to lvl.
