I don't have time to build one from scratch nor do I have the time to fiddle around with layers of abstract wizards, but I need to build a site that will basically be a info only site but allow simple uploading of pictures and text.

I was looking at Hostmonster and Yahoo, but wanted to run it by you guys to see if you have any recommendations. There are no requirements other than:

1) I can get it configured and up in running with little to no work on my end.

2) The owner of the business ...

Not sure if you guys can help me at all but I figured it was worth a shot.

We've had our Philips surround sound system for about 2 years now and it's always worked like a charm.

About a year ago we actually set it up so that the wires were underneath the floor baseboards and were not able to be seen. (We had them strung and taped to the walls before lol) We used a staple gun to hold it in place and made sure none of the speaker wire was harmed.

It's always had this problem where you ...

The reason that I am doing this because XP is about reach the end of it's support life cycle and Vista is currently the new Windows ME. There are also rumbles at work at starting a pilot program to test Windows 7. Since I work in support, I figured I might as well get a head start on this thing.
TV Tuner Recommendations?

Hey all... I'm looking for a tuner (card, usb, other) to use with my rig. The only requirements is that it has to work well with Vista 64 (or Windows 7) and Windows Media Center. I would also like it to be able to do HD, ATSC, and QAM.

I just returned a SiliconDust HDHomeRun duel tuner. I had it set up for a week and could not get it working with Media Center. I was also very unhappy with the quantity/quality of the channels it was able to toon.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Does anybody else have problems running DirectX10 in LOTRO? I have a 8800GTX and this is the first time I'm using Vista.

It runs fine for a while but then sometimes I will get these little squiggly lines in the pavement (lol not sure how else to describe it). It's like a graphical glitch and it takes place in multiple spots on the ground. After a restart of the game client it looks normal again. It's just a little annoying that's all.

I run the game at Ultra High settings if that matters.

I know that question probably sounds funny. The game runs great with one small exception. Every minute or two I get a game freeze for about a second. Almost like a 'hic-up' if you will, where the screen freezes and a second later everything is normal.

This happens if I'm somewhere solo or around a lot of people so I know it's not related to that. It pretty much seems to happen every few minutes on average. I'm wondering if there's some sort of hardware conflict going on. Any tech guru's ...

Anyone use this or have any experience with it? I installed it on the old laptop that I have and it went smoothly. Open office is great and everything runs smoothly till I try to update the OS or surf the internet. Looks like the frickin' wireless card drivers are causing it issues and the whole frickin' computer locks up when I try to do anything that is internet based. Tried just about everything I could find on the Ubuntu forums and tried loading through the Terminal and the internet. ...

Hey all I currently have Norton Antivirus and it's about to expire, as for a firewall I believe I'm using Windows Firewall. I just wanted to get advice on a good program for both that I could get. I really don't like Norton or the Windows Firewall so that's why I'm asking since it's about to expire anyways. Thanks for any help.

I'm always impressed on the engineering of some of these cool looking CPU coolers (pun intended)

And the SpinQ doesn't disappoint:

I have one regret with the Zalaman 9700 LED...it doesnt look as cool (another pun) as the Tuniq Tower but cools just as well.

Hey guys, I just got my new PC all set up and working great! Here are the specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.40 Ghz

EVGA nVidia GeForce 9800GT

5ghz of RAM (excessive, I know)

Asus P5QL-E Motherboard

500GB SATA HDD

Cost me about $940 CAD for all that, including a DVDRW drive, Case, Power Supply. I ran WAR with it on the last day of the PW and it was nice. No more lag when I have more than 8 people on my screen in RvR. I can't wait till they let you fiddle around with the settings, ...

Hi all,

Ok, so I have a fairly good comp, 680i motherboard with sli capabilities.

I have a 8800gt in at the mo, and a free PCI-E slot, just begging to be filled with another of those babies.

The question is: Is it worth the cash to get another 8800gt, or wait for a single better gcard to come out?

What is the performance like? Does it massively increase fps? I've heard it does ( I am big into good fps )?

I currently have LOTRO on Ultra high settings (with mega texture pack) and ...

nVidia drivers and modded .inf files

Here ya go:

Nvidia drivers are based on a system called Unified Driver Architecture

(UDA) which means all nVidia card drivers are using one driver. However

for some reasons, they just remove the support for installing those

drivers for some cards.

By following the steps below and replacing the proper .inf file with

one that supports your card, you can increase your performance

instantly.

It's a 3-step process:

1. Download driver, double click and select extract,
