Q) What MMO do you currently have the most interest in playing?
A)Warhammer Online is the only MMO that I currently play. I did originally play Everquest when that was released, Dark Age of Camelot, and most recently, World of Warcraft.
Q) Have you read our Code of Conduct and Forum Rules?
A)To be honest, no, but I didn't feel the need to as I am mature enough (29 years old) to be respectful to the other members of the forum.

A)I am 29 years of age.
Q) Have you read at least one of our example applications? [this is highly recommended]
A)I did a quick overview of Gorlokk's application, but it was very standard and pretty much what I expected.
Q) Do you have any relatives or friends currently in the guild, or were you recruited by someone? If so, who?
A)No, I do not have relatives in the guild. However, the guild I was with in Warhammer (Rest in Pieces) had/has several family members in it that recently transfered to Red Eye Mountain server as well. (father, uncle, and cousin all play)

A)I am from Livermore, CA.
Q) How did you hear about us: [friend, another member, forum, google, other mmo's, etc]
A)Well I saw you guys around on Ulthuan and then I was told by Zlando (Rest in Pieces) that you all seemed like a good bunch of people to game with so I am submitting my application as is required by your guild.
Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A)Nope, this would be my only guild. I wouldn't have time to play in multiple guilds to begin with, hehe.
Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A)You would be the very first Warhammer guild I have applied for.
Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A)I have a very good sense of humor, and comedy movies are some of my favorites. I am a huge Eddie Murphy fan and love his old movies like Trading Places and Coming to America to name a couple. Of course Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison. I can basically joke about anything as I am a light-hearted individual.
Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A)Well as I talked about earlier in the application, I played Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, and World of Warcraft. In regard to other games and skills, I was a professional Quake 2 and Quake 3 player in the PGL and CPL leagues respectively from 1997-2000. I still like to dabble in Counter-Strike Source from time to time to get my little FPS fix.
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A)Just want a good bunch of people to play and kill people with, hehe. Other people from our guild (Rest in Pieces) have said nothing but good things about this guild so I am following their lead and filling out the application. My father, cousin, and uncle should all be applying as well as a friend from college.
Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A)Well I am a Network and Communications Management student at Devry University in Fremont, CA. Other than school, I spend time with my family and girlfriend, drink some beers with the guys, play computer games, and watch sports. My favorite sports are boxing, basketball (Lakers), and football (Raiders, yea I know sad) but I also enjoy watching soccer from time to time as well since I played that sport for 12 years. I also was a bartender at a 5 star restaurant and winery for about 6 years and learned a lot about wines, spirits, and ports.
Q) Do you have any questions for us?
A)The only question I would have is if you're understanding to real life obligations and responsibilities? I'm sure you are, but there are some guilds that don't seem to understand that family, school and/or work takes precedent over a leisure time activity like Warhammer Online. Do not think that I don't enjoy playing, just sometimes it would not be responsible to do so. (Finals week and things of that nature)

Trukk - I'd ask that you go back and do read the CoC. Unfortunately, there isn't exceptions for anyone.
Doing so would eliminate any surprises on your part AND our part, should things be said or done in the future that would violate those rules. And to be frank, your chances for approval would be pretty slim.

Actually, I had hit the forums and it sent me to the other alliance forum where I did not read their terms and conditions. (It was pretty large)
Before posting my application I read the terms and conditions (much shorter) that consisted of the usual items like no reposting items, be respectful to other board members, no illegal behavior, etc.
I forgot to change my response as I was copying and pasting from a word document.

Other than the CoC thing this looks good to me.
I would make one other comment, the Applicant had an air of same old same old, Hammerfist is nothing different. I would like to see in the Applicants own words: What does make Hammerfist different?

When I first thought I was going to make an application, I had made an account on the other forum, not realizing it was the alliance forum. The code of conduct agreement was very large on that page, and I had not seen your official application form yet.
Later, I found the application and filled it out and tried to login using the account I created on the other forum. I realized I had done an "oops" and made an account here. Yes, I did read the CoC... yours was much much shorter than the other one. Due to the fact that I had already typed out my responses on a wordpad document to copy and paste, I forgot to make the change to that question.

I apologize if it came across that way. I have just been gaming a very long time so nothing really surprises me anymore.
In regard to what makes Hammerfist different, I will have to go with what I have heard from others as I have not had the pleasure of hanging out with your members. However, what I have heard is that you're a good bunch of people and like to have fun when you play.
Good fun, jokes, and conversation while I play Warhammer is what I am looking for. Hammerfist seemed like a good fit based on what the others in Rest in Pieces told me about you guys.
