Q) Have you read our Code of Conduct and Forum Rules?
A)Yes
Q) Are you at least 18+ years of age? [yes, no, actual age is optional]
A)39 and aging beautifully...
Q) What region do you live in? [City and State is fine.]
A)Amarillo, Tx - home of the Free 72 ounce steak if you can eat in in an hour!
Q) Gender:
A)Male
Q) Have you read at least one of our example applications? [this is highly recommended]
A)Yes I have
Q) Do you have any relatives or friends currently in the guild, or were you recruited by someone? If so, who?
A)No, but I hope that changes rapidly.
Q)Forum name: [The name you will be registering here]
A)Muyloco
Q) Current haracter name(s): [blank if none]
A)Muyloco
Q) How did you hear about us: [friend, another member, forum, google, other mmo's, etc]
A)The clan's large in game presence and the official AoC forums.
Q) Are you currently in any other Age of Conan guilds? Please tell us your reason for wanting to leave if you answered yes.
A)No
Q) Have you applied to any other Age of Conan guilds? Please tell us the status of your application if you answered yes.
A)No
Q) What class and level are you? If you're not playing yet, what class do you intend to conquer Hyboria with?
A)41 HoX and loving it...
Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A)Sarcasm tends to be my vice. At least I think I am funny if that counts.
Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A)Started with EQ the day of release and stuck with it until last Christmas, I didnt need another expansion to grind in. I played a few others but they did not hold my interest for long - WoW was a bad cartoon, DAoC what?, City of Heroes hmm, Tabula Rasa I won at lvl 50...
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other AoC guilds? [let us know!]
A)The clan's size, casual atmosphere, the potential to make many friends, and the general attitude of the clan's members I have seen in game. I see this as a guild with great endgame potential but also as one that will not penalize more casual players. I put in my time with EQ, massive hours and endgame raiding were great at the time but life changes - 2 kids and a non gaming wife tends to do that. I can still put in the hours and love end game content but that is not what AoC is ultimately going to be for me.
Q) What is your forum name on the official AoC forums?
A)Evid
Q) Tell us a tidbit or two about you, outside of gaming. Maybe about your job, your hobbies, maybe what sports you like to play. Anything you'd like to share.
A)Farmer/Rancher - imagine that, a real life legend of the west posting on the internet! Currently I play golf and tennis quite a bit, I love anything with wheels (2, 4, 6, 8, it doesnt matter).
Please remember to register here on these forums.
A)Will be done as soon as I hit submit.
Q) Do you have any questions for us?
A)Not at this time.

Would like to know a little more about what you like to do in your free time.
Waffles or pancakes?
Cake or pie, we always want to know the answer to that one.
Do you have much time for anything else, being a farmer and rancher, I bet that keeps you freakin busy.
Have you actually ever finished off one of those steaks?

re
I tend to be short and to the point ( plus my typing sucks)- that might explin the lack of fleshing out in the app.
Waffles, Pie, and if you do manage to finish that steak it is'nt worth it even if it is free!
I'm self employed, the major limitations on my time are my family and I love them dearly... I'm up before dawn and done before the vast majority of the working world has finished its first cup of coffee.

More information in the application is nice as it shows what we are looking for and that you took the time to read the approved ones..
What do you like to do outside of gaming? Has to be pretty wild being rancher/farmer and all the outdoor stuf.. do you have any great or funny stories to share?

A poke and a prod is all you need to get more out of me, so here it goes -
Gaming is an escape for me, I love it as I am sure most of you do.
In my free time I fish, the more the better but 99% of the time its catch and release, I'd fish with a net if I thought it would work, but flyfishing is the end all be all. Yes, i have a gun in my truck - several actually -and I like them too. I fish year round, hunt in the fall, ski in the winter, relax in the spring, and hide from the sun as much as possible in the summer - unless I am fishing.
If you want wild stories I can go on and on:
Wild animals - yep
Snakes - yep
Domestic animals - NO
Beer - yep
Strippers - maybe, depends on who asks

I think it would be great to have a farmer on board, could teach us how to get the most out of the resource nodes.
I agree that the app was a bit thin, there is a push going on right now inside the guild for activity from the guildies. Not so much game time and you don't have to be a forum troll, just take part in some conversation/participation in the guild activities/forums. That is one of the reasons why we like to hear more about you in the application, to get a sense of your involvement/community. Again, we are casual so you don't have to be online everyday but we like the guildies to be involved and be a part of what is going on.
So, just keep replying to the posts and I think you will be fine.
Good luck.

I can teach you how to turn a nasty slice into a winnng shot - its all about the situation and making the wind work for you, its easy to win in tennis if you keep your toss low and can deliver some nasty spin... Yes, its all theoretical at this point but you have to work with what nature gives you(aka 40mph winds).
It's too bad "farmer" has such a negative connotation in MMO's - it should be the ultimate tank class...
A fat hillbilly in a straw hat with a pitchfork that can piss off people in multiple counties - aggro magnet that will never fall... The damn game designers just need to figure out out to assign AC and an appealing aesthetic to overalls!
Maybe I said too much, maybe I said too little - good enough?
