How did you hear about us: Initially saw your thread in the AoC forums, found you via there, then was coincidentally contacted by one of your members.

Have you applied to any other AoC guilds? Looked into many, but have applied only here.

We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say? Being extremely multifaceted, my humor is varied, extending into the realm of the insanely non sequitur.

What other MMO's have you played if any: Ultima Online, Diablo II, Guild Wars; my primary genres are FPS, third-person shooters, action etc. and the "right" MMOs, of which there are very few. AoC is the one that hits on a personal level and offers things I've been waiting for in content and gameplay, so this will be the one that I'll find myself dedicated to more than any other.

What makes you want to join the clan? It's extremely difficult to find an actual adult group of individuals in this world, period, never mind in an online game. The general age of people here, while not an assurance of maturity in the real world by any means of maturity, is a huge plus, and from what I've seen, your members seem to exude the qualities of maturity, dedication and loyalty in a manner that's rare to come across. I'm looking for a group of individuals who know how to have fun, really put themselves into/enjoy/get something from the gaming experience of a world such as AoC, but who also are serious about their personal attributes. Why? Because something like this requires much time and dedication, and if people are "flaky" in their personal lives, it will only effect the potentially great experience with something such as this.

And lastly, tell us about yourself: Me... me, me, me... me too... well, there is much I could tell, but I will "condense" as best I can.

Extremely old soul and multifaceted, as real as it gets and understand and live by what I know to be the true definitions of honor, loyalty, respect, dedication, wisdom and strength. Definitely a "no b.s." individual, but certainly know how to have fun and a sense of humor in many various ways.

I'm a life-long gamer (both console and PC), primarily in the genres of FPS, TPS, action etc. but have awaited something like AoC my entire life. Musician of twenty years, life-long writer, graphic art/web design (love creating; it's what I am), deeply versed in the world of Conan since childhood, as well as the writings of the great H.P. Lovecraft etc. Collector of medieval weaponry, and all things medieval are very personal to me. Very "esoteric", but in very real and probably unexpected ways. Do own quite a few handguns (because the world is going to hell in a thimble) and am quite the "dead-eye", just like in FPS . Enjoy building PC gaming rigs, and have been a bit of an enthusiast to a degree over the last decade.

Into varied generes of music and film, but predominantly into extreme metal (but true quality song writing), but with a few varied things such as older hard rock and classical and medieval ambient. Into horror, sci-fi, dark comedies etc. etc. ...and some cartoons, because it keeps me sane.

"Another"? Well, no one said that'd be a bad thing . I was born in Bloomfield, NJ, lived in various places in Essex and other counties, lived in Brooklyn for some time and Queens, briefly.

Thanks. Seems like a bit much (the app), but since you're all apparently very interested in getting to know one another personally (which I'm very pleased to see) I figured, the more the better.

As for the firearms, I do not hunt (I'd rather hunt most people over animals), it's for sport and self-defense, though if I had my way, hand-to-hand/medieval weaponry would be my choice . But, I feel owning and being skilled with firearms is a necessity in this day and age, so with much practice, I've become a good shot. I use only SiGs, .40 cal my personal favorite, though I tend to carry a SiG .45 canon, lol.

I never seam to find time for the range. I too have a .40 cal except mine is Berretta. I mainly use it for the deer lease and home protection.

Another gun guy here. I carry a PPK .380 24/7 along with a Kahr 9mm. All designed to get me to my 18" 870 pump shotgun with a 6 shot mag.

Well, while all bullets can kill, the 9mm doesn't have the same stopping power as a .40 or particularly a .45, and the velocity is so high that there is risk of innocent casualties due to it exiting the intended target. That's even happened to law enforcment, where a round has passed through the intended target into an innocent. With a .40 or .45, the stopping power is vast over a 9mm, and the round stays in the intended target, which also causes more damage, as well as eliminates the risk of any innocent casualty. .45's and even .40's (which more law enforcement are even starting to carry, specifically SiGs, which are the best made guns in the world) are heavy as hell and not easy to conceal, but it's worth it for the power.

Our "range" up here is nothing more than the pits out in the wilds, but my wife and I bring our own targets and set up facing a hill (which is required by law) for practice. She's actually a great shot and would make quite the sniper herself, heh.

The crazy hicks in this state bring washing machines, refrigerators etc. up to the pits and take their shotguns to 'em, heh. Arizona...

I'm just curious (guild-related)... how active is everyone around Hammerfist? Haven't seen anyone posting that much, and no one else has dropped a line (which I'm not used to), so I'm wondering how active the guild is actually going to be in-game or just in general in the future...?

As for your question about activity,... it's decent for a game that is not out yet, and for a guild that was founded a little more than a month ago (in AoC - however we've been around for many years in other games.). This being just my personal opinion, and based on prior experience with guild development.
