What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from
some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) I played WoW for far too long... lvled a Mage to 70 and did a bit of raiding. There is something about pounding mobs with fireballs and blinking away to safety that is soo satifying.
To me MMOs aren't worth playing alone.
Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) I can't take the crap that younger players dish out, i like to play with fairness, honor and respect. I only have a limited amount of time i can play in a week so i would like to be with good people.

hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) Im in outside sales for a Plumbing supply company, i play guitar in a local band, i work on my house, hang with the kid and the wife... and oh, i like to smash stunties on the head.
I knew it was time to leave WoW and the guild I was with when we were in a 40 man raid and i got kicked after doing the first wing of the instance for a player that was late and better friends with the leader. I was number 2 on the DPS list and was looking forward to getting in on some sweet gear. I laughed the whole time.

I'm fairly new so it's a bit strange replying to someone's app when I just went through this process, but a little bit more personal info would be great. Your gaming credentials are solid, I don't blame you for bailing out on the WoW grind.

A funny story, a funny story... well I'm not much of a story teller and it seems any of the stories i can think of have serious context which is probably not worth getting into; however here is the story of the one and only job I've been fired from...
I was out for breakfast and i ran into a friend who's band was playing in Windsor that night. Windsor is across the St Clair River from Detroit... about 3 hours from home. After a little (VERY little) convincing, I called in sick to work. I worked at a video store at the time... and the weekend is their busiest time of the week. So needless to say my boss was NOT impressed.
So we went to the show, enjoyed MANY beverages, most alcoholic in nature. we jammed 10 people into a double queen room at the Best Western and pretty much destroyed the room. Nothing major was broken; just ten unwashed, stinky hippies and tons of pizza boxes and beer bottles.
The next day we left Windsor in pretty good time for me to make it to my Sunday shift at the Video store. However, once in the car, the motion seemed to be having an adverse effect on the extremely hungover passengers. Next thing you know, we were pulling over for people to puke every 20kms. It took over 4 1/2 hours to make the drive. I was going to be late for work and I decided to call in sick again.... Well, my boss didn't appreciate me calling in sick again, let alone from a phone booth on the side of Canada's busiest highway. I was trying to explain that i was in dire straights and hadn't recovered from my illness; over the sound of many, many transport trucks screaming by the phone booth.
He fired me days later, well deserved i might add...
