A) Yes I have read them, and agree to them

A) Yup read a few of them

A) Well I don't know, i would assume not but you never know who or what your elders may have donw in thier younger days so i might have a few unknown relatives in the guild. I know I don't have any that I currently know about that I'm related to, and no one recuited me.

A) Forums mainly, though I think I've run over, through and around a few of the members.

Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A) Yes, for the LOTRO, but on other alts. Mainly I'm there because I was running through the towns and they asked me "Hey you! Yeah you with the shirt on! Yeah I'm talking to you! Want to join my guild?" Well when asked like that who could say no? ((I have no problems in leaving the other guilds, most have teeny-bobbers))

Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) Not recently, you can see the above question.

Q) We like to have fun, how's your sense of humor? Not so good? Good? You're a standup comedian you say?
A)By this point you should be able to tell I have a huge sense of humor, most of the time though its more of a whitt, my wife loves it. =)

Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) Well lets see, I've played a wizard and ranger in EQ and EQ2; a warden in DAoC; a "raid" level hunter, mage, ret. pally, elemental shaman in WoW; a brigand (rogue debuffer/dps) in EQ2 I've been the guild tank (was a Shadow Knight) for EQ2. So I guess I could say that I know how to tank (including turning the mobs), and have no problems at all in nuking bunnies, rabbits, deer, orc, humans, elves, cats, rabbits again, King Authur and his knights, cute cuddly bunnies, mice, roaches, dwarves, hobbits, gnomes, pet rabbits (might think that I really like rabbits, eh?), goblins, and just about anything else that someone points to me and says "Kill that before it kills me"

Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) I like that this guild seems to be adult age, I deal enough with teens as it is (see below)

Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) Well I'm a physics/chemistry High School teacher. I enjoy punting gnomes, and hobbits along with long moonlight walks on the beach....hehehe. Uhmmmm, I have a sense of humor, and have always loved fantasy games, book, stories. I extremly well rounded, and thats about that.

A) Not at the moment! So has anyone ever figured out whats the air speed velocity of an unladened swallow carriing a coconut from Africa over to England?

Even though you're applying for a game I don't play, your app looks good to me.

I feel for you w/ the high school teaching job. After realizing I didn't want to use my geology degree for a regular geology job, I considered teaching junior or senior high school science of some sort. After a year and a half of doing para stuff while trying to decide, I got scared off. I'm hoping for your sake that your students are better behaved/more motivated than mine were, because teaching can be fun--it's just the teenagers part that's difficult!

Anyway...

HS students behave? not at my school, I just give them more work. Though I do include them in my physics problems so that I get to push them out of planes, down the stairs, hit with cars, shot out of cannoons. For some odd reason they will do those problems and generally like them, but can stand the ones from the book that do the same thing.

Well, I'm pretty sure there are good ones out there, but yeah, the general population tends to make up for them.

Physics is fun, though, 'cause you can actually do stuff. My memories include tennis ball cannons, a hover chair, shocking people (I remember a threat of shocking anyone who fell asleep, though I'm not sure it was an issue that day), the "Vomitron" (4 seats in a circle, facing the middle, that spun around, to demonstrate rotational motion), and a great demonstration involving a bed of nails, a cinderblock, lighter fluid, and a sledge hammer. So, yeah, physics is fun

Looks like a solid app to me.
I really feel for you dealing with high school kids all day. I survived raising one child past adolescence but have a couple more to go. Some days the angst and drama of my pre-teen can just about do me in.
