A) I am a former WoW player. Due to certain aspects of the game that have unmotivated me, I decided to go into a different direction.
Currently, I am playing LOTRO.

A) No, I do not know anyone in the Clan. My husband initiated a kinship info chat with member Aeditha, and he/she has been very friendly and helpful. Currently, we are not in a kinship.

A) We found you through a recruitment thread in the LOTRO forums.

Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A) No, I am not. In fact, LOTRO is the only mmorpg I am playing right now.

Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A) Yes, I have been a member of another kinship for a short time. However, due to lack of chemistry among some of the members, I realised that kinship didn't make me feel at home anymore. I would rather not point any names, for I find that this sort of information is not relevant. I would just like to clarify that I have nothing against anyone there... I just felt that that kinship wasn't a good fit for me due to personality incompatibilities.

You're a standup comedian you say?
A) I prefer to observe more than being observed. I love listening to the various types of humour there are, to how witty people can be. I am not saying I never throw a clever line here and there, but that takes a bit of time. When I feel that I have known a certain group of people long enough to the point of knowing that I will not offend or disrespect them in any way, then I feel comfortable enough to give my 2 cents

What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from
some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A) I was a raiding member of a WoW guild I'd say less than 6 months ago. I had 4 active toons there, and my main one was a shaman. I've seen most of the end game content before WOTLK, had a lot of fun with most encounters. I got to confess that I miss playing the shammy sometimes, though... but I don't think I'll be playing it anymore. Kind of grew tired of certain bad habits and behaviours found there, you know what I mean?

Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A) From what I have noticed through Aeditha's behaviour, you are a friendly, sociable, and - most importantly to me - a mature kinship. And if a kinship has these 3 virtues as part of its base, all the other virtues come along.

Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some
hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A) I used to be an ESL teacher for 12 years. English has been one of my passions for a long time. Ever since I moved to Canada, I stopped teaching ESL simply because the demand isn't really high here. So, I decided to try something I had never done before, which was customer service. Right now, though, I am not working anymore because I have been undergoing a very delicate skin treatment with laser. Unfortunately, this is a very long recovery process... so I need to stay home most of the time with my 2 cats that keep me company and drain my energies with their playfulness =). I try to occupy myself with as many things as I can, but what I like the most is online games, music, certain TV shows like Heroes, House, The Shield (too bad it's over) and Fringe. I also love singing and playing the guitar. Ok, I should stop now... enough mumbling already, hehe.

A) Aeditha has given us all the answers my husband and I were looking for. I can not think of any others right now...

Works for me, for the most part. I do have a couple of questions.

You mentioned your husband, will he be joining as well? If so, has he applied already?

We have a tendency to tease each other, normally we know the other person will not be offended and we usually know the limits. However, a shot sometimes may go wide of the mark and hit a sensitive area. If you were the target of such a misguided barb, how would you handle it?

First of all, thank you all for the positive responses =).

My hubby's toon's name is Brinnric, and he has also sent out an application form.

I do take most fun lines in a nice, non-serious way. If I do notice, though, that whatever line that was used had some sort of unpleasant conotation "in between the lines", I'd simply send that person a tell, saying, in the most respectful way possible, that it was a little too much and that I'd appreciate it if he/she took it easy. If that didn't work, then I'd address the issue to one of the kinship's leaders. Such thing hasn't happened to me before (not that I have noticed anyways). Well, never say never, I guess.
