A) I only play Lord of the Rings Online:Mines of Moria. I used to play WoW and UO, among others but LOTRO is now my pick as most interesting MMO I've played to date.

A)My sense of humor can fluctuate depending on my day. Sometimes it is good and sometimes bland humor. Sometimes I just play like a robot to relax from the hard day at work.

A)WoW, UO, Lineage II, ShadowBane, Final Fantasy...It's hard to remember them all.

A)This guild has established itself, and tell you the truth, most guilds are just rediculously unorganized.

A)I work for the U.S. Army. I used to enjoy many things before my time was monopolized by my occupation. I have room for only LOTRO, my lovely wife, my puppy, my friends, and the simple things in life.

May I recommend that you go back and look at the examples? For my tastes, your app is a little on the thin side. Not as bad as some we have seen, but it could use a little beefing up so we might get a better feel for the person behind the player.

Howdy - I think you have a good start to your app, but we really do want to know a bit more about you. You say you're in the army, what kind of things do you do? Do you have a funny story you can share about your work or family life? That kind of thing. Just flesh it out a bit more if you will.

A)I am currently very much interested in LOTRO. I've played tons of other MMOs but this is my last stop for a while to come. I like how Turbine put this thing together and has not really warped the idea of man, Tolkien, himself to something less than most commercialized products do. A 'Here! Here!' for LOTRO.

A)Why, yes I have! I always like to know what Im getting into and what my limitations would be...even if its in the online community. People are still people after all, whether face to face, or over a keyboard. Im impressed by the Hammerfist Clan standards.

A)Yes, I am a quarter of a century old! I was in Iraq when I passed my birthday by without noticing. Then one day I got to think about it and....A whole quarter century old!

A)This time I DID! Not very different than what I put forth before, but I do agree that my previous application may have been more dry than wished. Oh, well. One day, maybe, I'll perfect this doing of applications thing.

A)I have no clue who you or your friends are, but I'm sure that perhaps I have seen a few of your name ride by on the horseback, or perhaps standing in lonely comtemplation at the auctin house. It's a small world after all.

A)Alastier and Alastier....You see, the story goes that I'm not really good at coming up with names. I know it's very simple right....but some letters together and violla! presto!...but it has always been a difficult thing for me to do, is come up with the almight character/forum/profile name. So Im gonna stick with Alastier, through and through.

A)Well, you see....I looked down this morning, and it was dark. I was really frightened that I would have to sit down instead of stand to tinkle. I just let it all go, and to my relief I am still a Male to this very day.

A)I searched the lotro site, then the web...after trying to find a decent kinship in-game. Anyways, on the web I found a little blue link to The Hammerfist Clan website. I looked around. I was impressed. I decided I would try for it.

Q) Are you currently in any other AoC, LOTRO, or Warhammer guilds?
A)No. I have been in many guilds before in other games besides LOTRO. Guilds with miscellaneous guys and gals that were on half the time. Guilds with people that were only pro item/raid. Guilds that liked to just chill and take the game in its course in due time...no rush now. And I started a guild with one of my close friends on UO, but that was in high school...ah, the good old days.

Q) Have you applied to any other guilds?
A)No, I am dedicated to one application or asking at a time. I would never ask someone to accept me and then without giving them time to consider, just hop off and join someone else. I think that is just not right.

A)Sometimes I can be funny, sometimes really funny. Sometimes, I am just bland humorous. And sometimes, I just go into 'robot' mode, and just want to relax in-game while not being so funny. But, the thing is, I'm either funny, helpful, or quiet (and the occasional question or cry for help), Never mad, angry, or losing my cool spamming like a fool. It is just a game after all, right? So, why stress one's self out.

Q) What other MMO's have you played if any: [Acquired a few skills from some other games eh? Tell us about them]
A)I started my MMO career in Ultima Online T2A. I had much fun with this and my friend and I had a really good guild going on. Then, UO went Renaissance...ugh! The Trammel/Felucca idea through alot of us off and we could not like it even if we tried. So, I transitioned and went to other games like Lineage II and Final Fantasy, which I played for about a week each. I just did not like them. The controls were rediculous and people were far and in between to meet. Then came Guild Wars, which was awesome for its time in fame...but I immediately threw all ideas out the window when WoW came to the MMO scene. I played as every race, class and really enjoyed playing the Shaman. I joined up with my buddies from the Army in a guild called F. U. in the A. No No No...its not what you think it is. It stood for and still stands today for Friends United in the Army. Take your heads outta the gutter would ya? I have always been a Lord of the Rings fan, even before the movies. So when I heard they were developing the MMO for it, I just had to have it! And here I am today, in LOTRO..the best MMO yet, as far as Im concerned.

Q) What makes you want to join us over some of the other guilds? [let us know!]
A)If you look around there are tons of guilds that just...have VERY stupid names. Or names that just make no sense at all. And then I find some guild that has a good name and they advertise themselves as this way, but after Im in they are actually 'that' way. It's hard to find a good, balanced, organized, honorable guild. So, when I found this website and looked around at the Hammerfist Clan, I could tell that you are dedicated, mature people...and that's what I want. I want a different level of maturity than I have usually seen in MMO guilds.

Q) Please tell a little about yourself, aside from gaming. Perhaps some hobbies, about your work, favorite story etc.
A)Im in the U.S. Army and as you can see by my avatar, that is what I work on....the OH-58D (I) soon to be (R) Kiowa Warrior. I mess around with its black boxes and wires....the spark-chaser. But, that's not all...I also load and maintain the armament that goes on that bad little boy. As for hobbies...I like to table-top game, read books, watch movies. I used to take Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Jiu Jutsu, Judo and tried out Brazilian Jiu Jutsu. I love my Subarus...there just isn't any other car like it. And of course, my wife and puppy and friends are just as important to me or more so than anything else. I wish I could tell you of this one time I got really drunk...but I just don't remember what happened...

A)Yes, I do! I hope I did better on this secondary installment of Alastier - Join! LOTRO. I do hope you feel that this a more substantial application than the installment one. So, what do you think? Am I worthy of the Hammerfist Clan? And, do I get a company car?

Nice app. I give it a but.... a nice story on how you saved 30 maidens in distress with only your wit and a tasty pie would be grand. If you havent accomplished this yet then wait and we can save them together ingame . Its what we in T.H.C. call New Years shenanigans .
